The People Systems Senior DA role analyzes and reports on People and business KPIs, maintains HR data, and delivers data-driven insights to support People teams. The role also monitors performance, collaborates with stakeholders, and contributes to People strategies and initiatives.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Identify, create, and interpret People and business KPIs and metrics to measure performance.
- Develop and maintain HR, Manager and Executive dashboards and reports for various stakeholders.
- Analyze data trends and provide insights to data areas of concern and to inform People decisions and strategies.
- Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency in HR systems and reports.
Data Management
- Maintain and utilize HR data from various sources including HRIS, ATS, Payroll systems, and employee surveys to leverage for decision-making.
- Perform data cleaning and validation to ensure high-quality data outputs as needed.
- Partner with functional People teams and DTS to develop and implement data governance and best practices to maintain and secure useable data.
Ideation and Insights:
- Deliver data-driven insights to support People functional teams and other areas in the organization.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of functional metrics, employee engagement, turnover rates, and other HR-related data.
- Provide actionable recommendations based on data analysis to People Team Business Leaders, HRBP's and Talent Acquisition to improve People processes, outcomes, and experience.
Performance Monitoring:
- Monitor People and business performance against established KPIs and benchmarks.
- Identify and communicate trends, risks, and opportunities to People leadership and other People Team stakeholders.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by providing relevant data and insights.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Collaborate with People team members, business leaders, and other stakeholders to understand data needs and requirements.
- Build standard and customized dashboards featuring People data as needed.
- Provide training and support to People team members and management on the use and interpretation of People data, dashboards, and reports.
- Act as a liaison between People and DTS to ensure effective use of data systems and tools
Strategic Support:
- Contribute to the development and implementation of People strategies and initiatives.
- Support workforce planning by providing data and analysis on workforce trends, hiring forecasting, succession planning and projections.
- Participate in HR projects and initiatives, providing analytical support and expertise.
BASIC AND PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE)
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution with concentration in HR, Business, Data Science, Statistics, or equivalent work experience required; Masters degree or certification in HR Analytics or related preferred
- At least 3 years in Human Resources or related field required
- At least 3 years of HR data analysis or similar analytics experience required
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, JOB SKILLS, ABILITIES
- Proficient knowledge of HR policies, best practices, and employment laws.
- Expert ability with data analysis tools and software, such as Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
- Proficient knowledge of HRIS platforms such as Workday, ADP, or similar; Workday preferred
- Demonstrated capabilities for multi source data gathering, connectors, and data warehouse solutions
- Analyzing data to identify issues and patterns to make predictive recommendations, and present prescriptive opportunities for sustainable business solutions.
- Proven experience with statistical analysis and data visualizations.
- Proficient project planning skills, including the ability to organize, prioritize and control job responsibilities to meet deadlines in an environment with overlapping and conflicting priorities
- Proficient relationship building skills, including the capacity to predict and manage behavior, build and leverage cross-functional partnerships within and outside of the organization
- Proficient knowledge of Windows-based business computers and Microsoft Office programs; specifically, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Consistently demonstrates the qualities of a King's Hawaiian leader - the ability to activate and amplify aloha in every 'ohana member.
Annual Compensation Range: $105,00 - $145,000
