Job Description

Overview:

Reporting to the VP, Rewards, People Systems & Data, the People Systems, Data & Rewards, Analyst will support the People and Rewards function by assisting with the analysis, reporting, and integration of people-related data. The role will focus on providing data-driven insights to help inform strategic decisions across HR. As part of the HR business team, the Analyst will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to gather business requirements related to reporting and data analysis.
 

The Analyst will contribute to the development of Power BI dashboards and assist with data extraction and analysis using Excel. The role will involve supporting reporting on compensation, benefits, and employee data, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery of insights to the HR team and business leaders.

Key Deliverables:

Reporting Requirements

  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of Power BI dashboards and reporting tools to deliver insights on compensation, benefits, employee lifecycle, and workforce trends for HR and business stakeholders.

  • Utilize advanced Excel skills, including building macros and automating basic reporting tasks, to support ongoing analysis and reporting needs.

  • Support HR Business Partners by gathering data and assisting in defining reporting requirements for dashboards and analysis projects.

Data Ownership & Analysis

  • Assist in integrating people-related data from various internal systems to provide a comprehensive view of employee trends and lifecycle stages.

  • Support the development and execution of basic predictive models to forecast trends related to compensation, benefits, and employee engagement.

  • Prepare reports and insights on compensation, benefits, and savings programs to help the HR team make data-driven decisions.

  • Assist with the integration of people data into the Enterprise Resource Management (ERM) system, ensuring data accuracy and alignment with HR processes.

  • Help ensure data integrity and compliance with organizational policies and regulations.

General Support and Administration

  • Assist with the analysis and reporting of executive compensation structures, including base salary, incentive plans, stock options, and executive benefits.

  • Help manage accruals for compensation and benefits, ensuring accurate and timely reporting and reconciliation.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR, Finance, and IT, to support the improvement of People Systems, reporting processes, and analytics capabilities.

What You Bring:

  • 1-3 years of experience in HR analytics, compensation & benefits analysis, or a related field.
  • Skilled in Power BI, with experience in building basic dashboards and visualizations.
  • Strong Excel skills, including experience with macros, complex formulas, and basic data automation.
  • Understanding of compensation and benefits programs and the basics of financial data reporting.
  • Familiarity with basic data analysis and predictive modeling techniques, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Data Analytics, Finance, or a related field.
  • Certification or training in Power BI, Excel, or other relevant data analytics tools is a plus.
