What does a People First Strategist really do? Think of yourself as the one responsible for providing leadership, planning, project coordination and management of the design and oversight of HRIS initiatives in support of the organization's goals and practices specifically for HR Technologies, so not just anyone is qualified for this role! We make sure we get the best of the best, after all, we are a ridiculously good company so we make sure our employees are top notch.
Imagine yourself going to work with one thing on your mind: that you will work collaboratively and serves as the primary interface between HR and Corporate Applications, software vendors, Finance and Payroll to ensure integrity of the HR system. As you tackle your new tasks for the day, you know that it comes down to one thing: that you are in a leadership role in the management of systems and all its HR components, as well as day to day operations of the HRIS function.
As a People First Strategist, you will handle all sites of TaskUs (Cavite, BGC, Anonas, Pampanga, La Union and Bulacan or other possible additional PH sites in the future). You will partner with HR Operations, HR Leadership, Corporate Applications, Finance and Payroll to manage the delivery and utilization of the company's HRIS resources including system and business requirements, the design and implementation of HRIS solutions, oversight of HRIS best practices. You will manage the HRIS day-to-day activities to support the HR, Payroll and other interrelated functions. You will foster and maintain positive relationships with HRIS constituents, including management and the HRIS customer base. You will serve as an interface between internal/external customers and functional team members to ensure effective definition of and delivery of HRIS applications.
What else? You will also promote proactive approaches using the HR system to solve business needs/problems while also enhancing the understanding and acceptance of the HRIS capabilities. Based on business need, you will negotiate priorities and support requirements with Corporate Applications and others as appropriate. You will coach and lead the HRIS team, providing guidance to the HR team members and working diligently to ensure the system is utilized efficiently. You will also maintain system, database files and data with focus on integrity and accurateness. Ensure data fields, workflows and integrations are functioning appropriately. You will manage activities around quality assurance to ensure accurate data entry and workflow approvals are received consistently and sufficient controls are put in place. You will partner closely with internal IT Security Team to make sure the HR system is configured to align to global security standards. You will manage the HRIS team members employee development including performance reviews, coaching, training, etc. You will also handle special projects as assigned.

So, what is it we're looking for? Well since this is a People First Strategist, we need someone with an AB/BS degree or equivalent work experience in Information Technology or Human Resources, or a related field. Someone with a minimum of five (5) years of HR experience, preferably with HRIS management experience or a related field.
We also need someone who has a strong experience in evaluating system options, managing data integrity, and leading projects to optimize utilization. Someone who's proficient analytical and problem-solving skills. Also, someone who possess strong project management skills especially with system implementations.
