How you’ll contribute
A People Services Specialist who excels in this role:
- Administer and support comprehensive human resources programs, including talent acquisition, onboarding, employment processing, compensation, benefits, training and development, employee relations, retention, succession planning, records management, and AA/EEO compliance.
- Serve as a trusted People Services resource by providing guidance to employees, supervisors, and leaders on HR policies, procedures, employment practices, workforce issues, and recommending effective solutions to complex HR matters.
- Manage HRIS platforms and employee data, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, reporting, compliance, and efficient administration across systems such as Oracle, UKG, ServiceNow, Lawson, Kronos, Taleo, and other HR technologies.
- Coordinate onboarding, orientation, and HR systems training, educating new employees, supervisors, and managers on HR processes, systems, and best practices while providing ongoing training updates and support.
- Administer employee benefits, leave of absence (LOA), and payroll-related HR processes, managing employee communications, documentation, and coordination with managers to ensure a seamless employee experience.
- Support employee relations and organizational performance by assisting with performance management, investigations, conflict resolution, corrective actions, employee engagement initiatives, and coaching managers on HR-related issues.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, organizational policies, accreditation standards, safety requirements, and regulatory guidelines while supporting HR projects and continuous process improvements.

What we’re looking for
- Associate's degree required in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; a bachelor's degree with a business emphasis is preferred. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Minimum of two years of Human Resources experience required, with HR Generalist, HR Operations, or healthcare HR experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations, including FLSA, FMLA, ADA, and AA/EEO compliance requirements.
- Experience utilizing Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) required; experience with Oracle, UKG, ServiceNow, Lawson, Kronos, Taleo, or similar HR platforms is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships with employees, leaders, and cross-functional teams.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, analyze information, and recommend effective HR solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise sound judgment, and handle sensitive employee matters with professionalism, discretion, and integrity.
