About the Role

We're looking for a People Programs & Recruiting Lead, reporting to our Head of People, to help us build and scale the operational foundation of our People function. This is a hands-on, high-ownership role sitting at the intersection of program management and recruiting.

Our People function is currently a team of 1, and we're hitting an inflection point. We're in the middle of rolling out new systems and platforms. We're designing and launching people programs that can grow with our company. We're also hiring, while investing intentionally in AI fluency for every role. We need someone who can be a builder, thinker, and driver across these programs, while keeping our hiring engine running.

What You'll Do

People Programs (~50%)

  • Performance Reviews: Help design and lead our managers and team members through our first company-wide performance review program

  • Employee Engagement: Design and launch our first employee engagement survey, then work with leaders to implement high-priority, data-informed initiatives

  • New Hire Onboarding: Redesign the experience and learning journey of onboarding to WellTheory.

  • Manager Training: Facilitate trainings and curate manager tools to strengthen our leadership foundation

  • Internal Resources: Launch our internal employee resource hub in Notion, our source of truth for employee and manager resources, policies, and FAQs

Recruiting (~50%)

  • Full Cycle Recruiting: Partner with hiring managers to define the job and kick off the interview plan, then manage the end-to-end process from sourcing to closing candidates

  • Recruiting Ops: Own and manage Ashby, our Applicant Tracking System (ATS). Configure the platform, manage scheduling, and support candidate coordination.

  • Employer Branding: Manage our employer branding efforts, including a career page redesign.

Skills Required

  • Experience owning full‑cycle recruiting and closing candidates
  • Experience owning and configuring an ATS and recruiting operations (experience with Ashby preferred)
  • Program management experience launching people programs (performance reviews, engagement surveys, onboarding, manager training)
  • Experience designing or facilitating manager training and learning journeys
  • Ability to lead cross‑functional programs from kickoff to launch with high autonomy
  • US‑based and able to collaborate across Pacific Time working hours
  • Familiarity with Ashby, Notion, Slack, Claude, Google (bonus)
  • Experience in Series A/B startups and/or health‑tech (bonus)
  • Demonstrated use of AI‑enabled processes to improve efficiency (preferred)
