Our People Experience team is seeking an experienced People Partner to join the team on an initial 12month Contract basis.
Reporting to the Manager People Experience – Perform, this role will be responsible for providing HR support, advice and coaching to a number of business units across the organisation.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business partnering, employee relations and industrial relations.
You will have a proven track record of partnering with diverse teams to drive business results through effective HR practices.
This role will work across our West Perth and Joondalup offices along with work from home options.
What will you be doing?
- Providing recommendations and solutions covering multiple areas of HR including resource planning, reward and recognition, performance, development, engagement, talent and succession and communication and change.
- Support the business with high risk and complex people issues, conducting investigations and resolving employee relations issues
- Supporting with various Industrial Relations activities including Enterprise Agreement negotiations
- Delivering and driving cyclical People activities in collaboration with business leaders and People and Capability (P&C) subject matter experts (SMEs)
- Partnering with leaders on business problems that require people data, insights and solutions
- Providing advice to line managers on contemporary industrial and employee relations practices
- Collaborate with P&C colleagues to ensure consistency and alignment of HR programs and processes across the organisation
- Providing interpretation and counsel to leaders regarding policies, procedures and processes relating to employees
What are we looking for in you?
- Demonstrated experience as an HR Business Partner or similar HR generalist role
- Degree or tertiary qualification in HR or other relevant discipline
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations, with demonstrated experience in handling complex employee relations issues
- Sound industrial relations knowledge, with experience supporting Enterprise Agreement bargaining and managing union engagement
- Experience delivering multi-mode communications to diverse and complex stakeholder groups
- Ability to identify new ways for HR to drive business performance
- Demonstrated initiative and strong decision-making skills
- Strong relationship management and influencing skills

Skills Required
