This is a hands-on HR role with a clear focus- getting employee relations right and supporting managers to make sound, compliant decisions.
You will work closely with the Senior People Lead - Bulgaria & Global People Operations and partner with managers across Bulgaria (and the rest of the RGER locations) to ensure we handle performance, disciplinary and exit processes in a way that is fair, consistent and aligned with Bulgarian labor law and our culture, policies and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:
Employee relations and labor law compliance :
- Support the Managing Director and Senior People Lead and co-manage employee relations cases in line with Bulgarian labor law.
- Advise managers on disciplinary actions, performance management, and terminations. Work with the Learning and Performance team on the relevant guidance and training content.
- Ensure all case-related documentation is:
- legally compliant
- clearly structured
- consistent across cases

- Review and validate documentation prepared by the People Ops team before final use.
- Participate in investigations and support resolution of employee concerns.
- Identify risks early and propose appropriate actions.
Manager partnership (local and international) :
- Act as a key support partner to the Senior People Lead - Bulgaria & Global People Operations on topics related to Bulgarian labor law and employee relations.
- Stay fully up to date on changes in Bulgarian labor law and administrative requirements and ensure those are reflected in HR practices and guidance.
- Advise local leadership on legal considerations, risks, and appropriate approaches to employee-related decisions.
- Serve as a point of contact for managers of Bulgarian employees by:
- owning employee relations cases for the InnoHub team in Bulgaria in constant cooperation with the Senior People Lead - Bulgaria & Global People Operations and the respective counter parts in the other RGER entities
- supporting the Senior People Lead - Bulgaria & Global People Operations with all employee relations cases when requested
- supporting the Senior People Lead - Bulgaria & Global People Operations with all employee relations cases when requested
- Provide clear, practical guidance to managers on:

Talent acquisition ownership and support :

Talent acquisition ownership and support :
- Work with the Senior People Lead- Bulgaria & People Ops to decide participation in external Talent events to create an event calendar that maximizes exposure to the right candidate profiles. Take ownership of the budget planning and administration for those events.
- Manage and support the Talent Acquisition Partner in Bulgaria in both the hiring process and external networking and event participation to attract talent.
- Provide guidance on hiring approaches, candidate selection, and local practices.
- Lead recruitment for Innovation Hub hires when requested
- Act as backup coverage for all hiring processes in Bulgaria when needed.
Experience and Key Skills :
Required Experience & Qualifications :
- 3+ years of experience in HR roles in Bulgaria, ideally as an HR Generalist or HR Business Partner.
- Solid, hands-on experience with Bulgarian labor law- disciplinary processes, performance management, and employee exits, implementation of law changes into the business’ day-to-day.
- Proven track record of handling employee relations cases end-to-end, with a strong focus on compliance and documentation.
- Experience working with and advising managers, including in international environments.
- Exposure to recruitment processes, with the ability to step in and lead hiring when needed.
- Experience working in structured environments alongside HR Ops or shared services teams is a strong advantage.
