The People Partner position will support assigned locations with various human resource functions by providing a front-line response in the areas of employee relations, performance management, benefits, leaves of absence, training, record tracking, policy interpretation, procedure implementation, personnel actions, and other areas within the HR department.
Key responsibilities

Be sparring partner to the regional teams as we build together the new FLPO organization in LAM.

Support the implementation of the new businesses partnering within the EEO and FLPO organizations.

Act as Project Manager of specific strategies.

Partner with HR Business Partners on the implementation of the People Strategy.

Plan and coordinate regional activities related to deployment of the new regional organizational structure and ensure timely execution and aligned approach.

Responsible for regional coordination of all people moves in the HR organization, being central point of contact for in-country HR across the Americas.

Deliver support, including HR operations to the People Partnering Organization in the Americas, driving the annual HR cycle and providing tactical and operational guidance and coaching to leaders on HR all matters.

Give advice and assessment to leaders and employees on several HR matters.

Conduct employee investigations, gather witness statements, and make recommendations regarding the next steps.

Ensure compliance with various state and federal wage/hour laws, signage, postings, etc.

Assist with the implementation of department and company goals, objectives, policies, and procedures.

Manage company-wide performance management process, including Performance Improvement Plans and corrective actions.

Provide support and coaching to managers on employee-related issues.

Assist with the creation and implementation of HR-focused and company-based policies and procedures.

Assist Managers with termination paperwork, exit interviews, and others.
We are looking for :

Before the checklist of skills and qualifications, we’ll start with the must-have: for this role, as one of your key responsibilities it to support building the new FLPO organization to be able to deliver HR services to our business in our Depots and Warehouses.
As for the skills and experience, we are looking for:

5 years of experience as an HR generalist or HRBP.

Proven experience on leading project implementations.

Advanced Spanish and English proficiency.
-
Advanced Workday user, desirable.

Pasion to provide a best-in-class customer experience.

Good understanding of Panama´s Labor Law
