Job Description
Are you a passionate HR professional who enjoys working across employee relations, benefits, and talent development? TOMRA Collections is looking for a P&O Generalist to join our team and help drive a positive, compliant, and high-performing workplace across multiple locations.
Location: Shelton, CT (Travel Required)
Pay: $75,000-80,000
What You’ll Do
As a key member of our P&O team, you’ll:
- Partner with leaders to provide guidance on employee relations, policies, and employment law
- Ensure consistent and accurate interpretation of P&O policies across the organization and conducts regular audits to monitor and enforce compliance
- Support benefits administration, including invoicing, open enrollment and vendor coordination
- Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and background checks
- Lead and support employee training and development initiatives
- Provide advice and counsel to managers and supervisors regarding personnel practices, policy and employment laws
- Help manage performance programs and workforce planning efforts
- Conduct investigations and support employee relations matters such as disciplinary procedures and appropriate corresponding paperwork/documentation
- Maintain HRIS data and ensure compliance across all processes
- Travel (up to 50%) to support teams across the Northeast

Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s + 2–4 years HR experience OR
- Master’s + 1 year HR experience OR
- 6+ years of relevant experience
- PHR or SHRM-CP preferred
- Experience in multi-state or decentralized environments is a plus
