- Payroll & Incident Ownership: Execute and validate end-to-end payroll for Mexico and international contractors. This includes calculating and auditing bonuses, overtime, vacations, and all extraordinary compensation for the entire team.
- Employee Lifecycle Management: Lead the onboarding logistics, ensuring all new hires are correctly registered across our tech stack and maintaining accurate employee records throughout their journey.
- Process Automation: Identify bottlenecks in current manual platforms and implement tech-driven solutions to scale our People Operations.
- Audit & Compliance: Act as a guardian of data accuracy, conducting regular audits of payroll inputs and maintaining rigorous governance checks in collaboration with the Finance team.
- Stakeholder Support: Serve as the primary point of contact for all team members regarding payroll queries, benefits, and reimbursements, providing high-quality internal support.
- Professional Experience: 2 to 4 years of experience in Payroll, People Operations, Accounting, Finance, or Audit. Having a background in a Big 4 firm or a high-growth tech environment is a significant plus.
- Educational Background: Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is strongly preferred to support the highly numerical nature of this role.
- Analytical Mindset & Rigor: Strong attention to detail with a "detective" mindset. You don't just input data; you audit documentation and operational workflows to ensure 100% accuracy and compliance.
- Tech Proficiency: Advanced skills in spreadsheets (Excel/Google Sheets) and experience using HRIS or operational tools (Runa/Rippling). A proven interest (or experience) in automating manual processes and improving efficiency is highly valued.
- Adaptability & Autonomy: High level of disposition and autonomy. You have the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment, building processes from scratch as we scale.
- Communication: Clear and effective communication skills, with professional fluency in English to collaborate with our distributed, global team.
