Summary of the role:
We are looking for a People Operations Trainee (preferred location Helsinki) to join our People Operations team.

The People Operations team is responsible for managing and optimizing global people-related processes, systems, and compensation and benefits. We own the people data and ensure we have capabilities to make data-based decisions. We oversee and streamline global payroll operations.

Collaborating closely with multiple stakeholders, we ensure that the organization's systems, processes, and structures effectively support and add value to the company. The key priorities include ensuring the use of efficient tools, guidance, documentation and improving ways of working in people related topics. Our work is fundamental in creating exceptional team member experiences throughout the entire organization.
As People Operations Trainee, you will assist in updating and managing our people systems, ensure data quality, and participate in operational routine tasks which may include reporting and supporting the organization in different people operations related topics. You may also participate in driving annual People & Culture related processes and develop our analytics capabilities further, and be part of people systems related development projects, which may include planning, testing and implementing new features.

• IT expertise / Tech savvy - you adopt easily new technology and systems
• Interest in modern People practices, Service design, Agile development and Employee Experience
• Comfortable with reporting and analytics and related tools like Excel and Power BI
• Knowing SQL and interest in AI tools is seen as advantage
• You are precise and analytic and get excited around data
• You have a problem solving and can-do attitude combined with strong willingness to take initiative
• You are motivated in learning new things
• You are active and persistent in taking improvements forward
• You are comfortable and fluent both presenting and writing in English

This is a paid fixed-term contract for five months, starting in April 2025 (start date can be agreed).

The salary will depend on your study credits and will range between 2200-2880 EUR/month.
