As a People Operations Specialist, you will help transform HR operations through process automation and optimization. You will lead and contribute to projects that optimize HR operations, collaborating with key partners such as IT, People Partners, Benefits, Legal, and Payroll. Your role will involve contributing to global and regional processes, and leveraging technology to drive process efficiencies. Reporting to the Sr. Manager, People Operations, you will build scalable processes that ensure a high standard of employee experience and operational efficiency. This dynamic role requires adaptability, continuous improvement, and the ability to solve complex problems in a fast-paced environment.
The Impact You Will Have
- Support HR operations for Japan and the wider Asia Pacific Japan (APJ) region, ensuring seamless execution of regional processes while aligning with global initiatives.
- Own and execute small to medium sized HR projects, ensuring global alignment while addressing regional nuances.
- Manage employee lifecycle programs, tracking KPIs and continuously enhancing program effectiveness.
- Identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements that align with business priorities.
- Streamline HR processes using technology to enhance efficiency and scalability.
- Build and maintain strong cross-functional relationships to drive multi-team projects from initiation to completion.
- Develop and maintain playbooks and process documentation for consistent HR program execution.
- Serve as the escalation point for employee inquiries and regional complexities, ensuring a high-quality employee experience.
What We Look For
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in HR and People Operations roles.
- Strong background in Workday and familiarity with HR systems of medium/high complexity.
- Project management skills, including requirement gathering, cross-functional collaboration, and change management.
- Understanding APJ HR operations, with experience supporting multiple teams and functions.
- English proficiency required
