The Role
We are looking for an experienced People Operations Specialist to join our dynamic Talent Team. The candidate will be responsible for the following:
- Managing the day-to-day operations of the HR Team
- Administering Dayforce updates (HRIS)
- Compensation Analysis
- Onboarding and Offboarding of employees
- Contractors and subcontractors
- Completing critical Sales RFP's
- Compiling Executive metrics and dashboards
- Payroll backup coverage.
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of people operations experience and a proven record of accomplishing tasks with accuracy and ownership.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Understand how to onboard and offboard new hires
- Provide support on HR-related topics such as RFP's, compensation, and operational policies
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies
- Gather and analyze data with HR metrics on a monthly and quarterly basis
- Compile and update employee records in Dayforce
- Process documentation and prepare reports related to personnel activities
- Assist in payroll preparation by providing relevant data to Payroll Administrator and act as back-up processor when needed
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience working as a People Operations Specialist, HR Manager, HR Program Manager or a similar role
- Strong problem-solving, reporting and analytical skills. Skilled in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Knowledge of Dayforce HRIS and payroll systems
- Demonstrated ability to research and analyze problems at a senior level, providing feedback, guidance, and direction.
- A clear understanding of Human Resources practices and legal requirements.
- Working knowledge of the critical components of a successful HR department including employment law, performance management, resolving conflict, maintaining employee files, and managing operational processes
- Clear, strong verbal communication and consulting skills. Demonstrated ability to work with Executives and Senior Leaders
- Well-developed dashboard and presentation skills.
- Discretion, sensitivity, and confidentiality. Demonstrated ability to listen, analyze and deliver data and operational requirements.
- Bachelor's Degree
- SPHR or other HR certification preferred.
