The People Operations Specialist plays a key role in delivering efficient and effective people
operations support across Aramark Croke Park. The post holder will be responsible for
coordinating recruitment, workforce fulfilment, people compliance, time & attendance,
payroll, colleague engagement and people operations administration activities to support all
operational departments in deliverying the best colleague and customer experience within a
positive workplace environment.
Working closely with operation department heads, workforce planners, HR Shared Services,
Learning and Development and the People Operations Manager. The People Operations
Specialist will act as a trusted advisor to operational managers and provide a high-quality
colleague experience throughout the full colleague employment lifecycle.
The role requires a highly organised individual with strong communication & technological
skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced environment.

Job Description

We're looking for a detail-oriented and organized People Operations Specialist to join our team in Croke Park Stadium, Dublin, Ireland. In this full-time position, you will serve as a key support function within our Human Resources department, managing day-to-day HR operations and ensuring smooth execution of people-related processes. The ideal candidate will be professional, efficient, and supportive, with a strong commitment to maintaining confidentiality and compliance with Irish employment regulations.

Workforce Fulfilment
• Support the workforce planners / schedulers in the deployment of colleagues across
all operational departments for match day and non-match day activities.
• Mange workforce fulfilment within agreed deadlines.
• Monitor staffing levels and escalate workforce gaps to the People Operations
Manager.
• Support workforce contingency planning to ensure operational coverage during peak
periods and major events.
• Maintain accurate records using workforce management systems.

Recruitment and Resourcing
• Manage end-to-end recruitment activities for all roles.
• Screen applications, coordinate interviews and support hiring managers through the
recruitment process.
• Build and maintain talent pools to support ongoing workforce requirements.
• Attend recruitment events and support attraction campaigns.
• Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment journey.
• Assist department heads in forecasting future recruitment needs.

Compliance and Employment Lifecycle Administration
• In conjunction with hiring managers ensure all required employment documentation
is received and recorded before colleagues commence employment.
• Maintain accurate employee records throughout the worker lifecycle in conjunction
with HRSS.
• Support worker offboarding processes, ensuring departures are managed in line with
company procedures.
• Ensure underage working regulations are adhered to at all times
• Conduct regular compliance audits and follow up on outstanding requirements.
• Escalate compliance concerns and risks to the People Operations Manager.
• Maintain accurate compliance records in relevant systems.

Match Day and Event Delivery
• Support the delivery of workforce operations for match day and non-match day
events.
• Act as a key point of contact for workforce matters.
• Ensure workforce fulfilment is communicated effectively to departments.
• Resolve workforce issues relating to attendance, availability, payroll.
• Co-ordinate accreditation and workforce access requirements.
Other SLE Support
• Coordination of Croke Park casual colleagues working additional hours in other
Aramark sites

Payroll and Workforce Administration
• Prepare and validate workforce information for payroll processing.
• Ensure hours worked, shift amendments and employee data are accurately
maintained.
• Maintain high standards of workforce administration and record keeping.
Operational Support
• Build strong working relationships with department heads and operational
managers.
• Provide guidance on recruitment, workforce fulfilment, scheduling and compliance
matters.
• Act as a first point of contact for workforce-related enquiries.
• Promote best practice people process across all departments.

Reporting and Systems Management
• Maintain workforce management and recruitment HR systems.
• Ensure data accuracy across all areas of responsibility.
• Produce regular reports relating to:
    Recruitment activity
    Workforce fulfilment
    Compliance completion
    Attendance and absenteeism
    Labour costs
• Support the analysis of workforce trends and operational performance.

Engagement & Continuous Improvement
• Support engagement initiatives.
• Co-ordinate the annual employee engagement survey.
• Identify opportunities to improve areas of responsibility.
• Contribute to continuous improvement projects within the People Operations
function.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment legislation and industry best
practice.

Qualifications

Qualifications and Experience

  • Experience in People Operations, Operations, Recruitment, Workforce Fulfilment and/or Payroll.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced operational environment and managing large casual or seasonal workforces.
  • Extensive experience using workforce management, recruitment, HR and payroll systems, ideally including Ubeya, SmartRecruiters, iTrent and SAP SuccessFactors.
