This role is key to supporting operational excellence at Latitude, working closely with the entire People & Culture (P&C) team and wider business stakeholders. This position sits within the People Operations team, which is the first point of contact for generalist HR advice and support across all aspects of the employee lifecycle. In addition to managing daily tasks, this role actively drives process improvement by playing a key role in P&C project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively support and coach leaders and employees throughout their lifecycle at Latitude, driving efficiency and self-service through HR systems.
- Identify, undertake and contribute to project activities and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance the employee experience.
- Support and administer people management systems, including Workday, ensuring data integrity and the elimination of critical data defects.
- Provide ad hoc reporting and data analysis.
- Maintain best-practice standards and confidentiality in the handling, storage and auditing of employee and broader HR data.
- Build strong, collaborative partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, including Payroll and Finance.
- Work closely with the People team to deliver enterprise-wide activities such as annual remuneration reviews, restructures and performance reviews.
- Participate in broader P&C initiatives and team activities.
- Perform other duties consistent with the position, as required or requested by P&C leadership.
Qualifications / Requirements:
- Exposure to high-volume, high-accuracy transaction processing and contract administration, with operational HR experience highly desirable.
- Demonstrated understanding of Human Resources policies and procedures, with the ability to provide advice on these matters and awareness of relevant employment legislation.
- Experience with HR platforms (e.g. Workday and ServiceNow).
- Analytical skills and the ability to generate and communicate concise insights from data. Proficiency in Excel (e.g. XLOOKUP, advanced formulas, tables and charts).
- Familiarity with using AI tools to drive efficiency and reduce administrative workload.
- Exposure to payroll systems and processes is well regarded.
- Strong interpersonal, collaboration and engagement skills with the ability to build and maintain effective stakeholder relationships.
- Strong time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and manage competing priorities.
- Proven execution skills, with a solution-focused mindset and a strong ability to proactively own tasks and follow through to completion.
