Summary Generated by Built In

Every day, millions of vehicle owners depend on dealership service departments to keep them on the road. We build the software that helps those service teams communicate with customers, schedule repairs, approve work, collect payments, and deliver a better experience from start to finish.

myKaarma is a leading SaaS platform serving dealerships across North America. Headquartered in Long Beach, California, with a global team, we're growing by solving real operational problems with practical technology.

We believe the best ideas come from people who take ownership, question how things can be improved, and care deeply about the customer experience. If you're excited to build products that have measurable impact, we'd love to meet you.

Why this role matters.
This is an early-career role with meaningful potential. You'll be supporting HR operations across three countries (USA, Canada, and India) for a lean global people team that moves fast and expects everyone to carry their weight.

The work starts with the fundamentals of HR operations: documentation, compliance, processes, and employee support. But we're a SaaS company in the middle of an AI transformation, and our people team is evolving in the same way. You'll learn how the work gets done, help improve it through automation and smarter systems, and contribute to building a more scalable People function.

As the team evolves, this role will evolve with it. You'll have opportunities to develop deeper expertise in areas such as Total Rewards, Learning & Development, HR Operations, or people systems, while continuing to build on a strong operational foundation. We're people first, then process, and finally technology - this matters because you need to understand the people and the process before you can build the technology that serves them. This role is where that starts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own HR documentation and recordkeeping across the US, Canada, and India, including employee files, contracts, onboarding paperwork, benefits administration, and offboarding checklists.
  • Track compliance obligations and key deadlines across all three countries, ensuring required filings, documentation, and regulatory requirements stay on track.
  • Support leave of absence administration by coordinating documentation, communications, and processes with employees and managers.
  • Maintain accurate employee data and documentation within our HRIS and related systems.
  • Coordinate onboarding logistics to ensure new hires have a smooth, consistent experience across regions.
  • Support audits, policy administration, and other core People Operations initiatives.
  • Monitor recurring processes and proactively identify upcoming deadlines, risks, or gaps before they become problems.
  • Identify opportunities to improve how work gets done through better processes, automation, AI, or system enhancements.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Comfortable using AI tools, HRIS platforms, and learning new technology quickly.
  • Strong organizational skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Experience supporting HR operations in a global environment or across multiple countries is a plus, but not required.
  • Experience in specialized areas (benefits, compensation, learning, systems) is a plus but not required.

We know great candidates don't always match every requirement. If this role excites you and your experience aligns with many of the qualifications, we'd encourage you to apply. Skills can be learned—we also value curiosity, ownership, and a willingness to grow.
