Role OverviewWe are seeking a proactive and experienced People Operations Specialist to support the company's growing People function on a fractional basis.
The successful candidate will support day-to-day People Operations, recruitment, employee engagement, HR administration, compliance, and performance management. This role is ideal for a hands-on People/HR professional who can work independently, manage multiple priorities, and provide reliable support within a fast-paced environment.
Location: Lagos
Work Schedule: 3 days per week
Employment Type: Fractional / Part-time
Manage day-to-day People Operations, including employee records, HR documentation, onboarding, offboarding, leave management, and HR administration.
Manage and support recruitment processes, from candidate screening and interviews through to onboarding.
Support employee engagement, performance management, employee relations, and other people-focused initiatives.
Coordinate payroll, benefits, HR compliance, and ensure People processes are aligned with Nigerian labour laws and company policies.
Maintain accurate HR data and reports, respond to employee queries, and identify opportunities to improve People processes.
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field. Professional HR certifications such as CIPM, SHRM, or CIPD are an advantage.
3–5 years of experience in Human Resources, People Operations, or a related role.
Hands-on experience across HR operations, recruitment, employee relations, onboarding, and performance management.
Good working knowledge of Nigerian labour laws and HR compliance requirements.
Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency with HRIS/HR tools and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
Ability to commit to working 3 days per week onsite in Lagos.
