We are seeking a short-term (6 months+) People Operations Partner contractor to support a critical phase of foundational enhancement and digital transformation work across our People Operations ecosystem. This role will partner closely with People Operations, HRIS/IT, Benefits, and cross-functional stakeholders to help deliver cyclical programs and accelerate operational improvement initiatives; requirements gathering, process redesign, testing, knowledge documentation, change management, and implementation readiness efforts tied to People systems and workflows.
This is a highly collaborative, execution-focused role that will help drive scalable operational foundations, improve employee and manager experiences, and support the successful delivery of key enhancement initiatives across People Operations processes and systems.

The ideal candidate brings strong operational knowledge, experience supporting HR technology implementations/enhancements, exceptional documentation and organization skills, and the ability to translate business needs into actionable requirements and execution plans.

Key Responsibilities:
Transformation & Enhancement Support

  • Partner with People Operations, HRIS/IT, P&C, COEs, and business stakeholders to support foundational enhancement and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Gather, analyze, document, and refine detailed business and operational requirements across People Operations processes and workflows.
  • Translate operational pain points and business needs into clearly structured requirements, user stories, process maps, and enhancement recommendations.
  • Support prioritization and backlog readiness activities for enhancement initiatives an operational improvements.
  • Identify opportunities for process simplification, standardization, automation, and improved employee experience.
     

Requirements Documentation & Process Design

  • Lead detailed requirements documentation efforts, including current state assessments, gap analyses, workflow mapping, business rules, dependencies, and future state process design.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive operational documentation, SOPs, knowledge articles decision logs, and implementation support materials.
  • Partner cross-functionally to ensure requirements are actionable, well-defined, and aligned across operational and technical teams.
  • Support governance and operational readiness activities for new or enhanced processes.
     

Testing, UAT & Implementation Readiness

  • Develop comprehensive UAT strategies, detailed test scripts, test scenarios, and validation documentation for People systems and process enhancements
  • Coordinate and facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) sessions with stakeholders and operational teams.
  • Track, document, and help resolve testing defects, process gaps, and enhancement feedback.
  • Support implementation readiness activities, including rollout coordination, communication planning, training support, and operational transition planning.

Change Management & Stakeholder Enablement

  • Support change management activities related to new processes, workflows, tools, an operational models.
  • Assist in developing stakeholder communications, training materials, enablement resources, an adoption strategies.
  • Partner with operational teams to drive awareness, readiness, and adoption of process and system enhancements.
  • Help navigate organizational change by identifying operational impacts, risks, and support needs.

Cross-Functional Partnership

  • Serve as a liaison between People Operations, HRIS/IT, Benefits, and other business stakeholders to ensure alignment and execution
  • Drive coordination, accountability, and follow-through across multiple concurrent initiatives and work-streams.
  • Provide flexible operational support during periods of transformation, transition, and increased workload.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in People Operations, HR Operations, HR Transformation, HR Program Management, or related functions.
  • Hands-on experience with Workday and familiarity supporting HR systems enhancements implementations, or optimisation initiatives.
  • Familiarity with Benefits administration and related People Operations processes.
  • Strong experience gathering and documenting business and operational requirements.
  • Experience developing and facilitating UAT testing, including detailed test scripts and defect tracking.
  • Exposure to change management, implementation readiness, or operational transformation initiatives.
  • Exceptional process documentation, organization, and project coordination skills.
  • Strong collaboration and stakeholder management capabilities across technical and operational teams.
  • Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, evolving environments with competing priorities.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience partnering closely with HRIS, IT, or enterprise systems teams.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow HRSD, case management, workflow automation, or employee services models.
  • Experience supporting global People Operations environments.
  • Exposure to shared services, operational scaling, or employee experience initiatives.
