Team mission
Our mission is to power the employee experience by facilitating change and helping to navigate the moments that matter. To support us on this journey, we are looking for a dedicated People Operations Manager to join our international team based in Berlin. In this role, you'll be constantly learning and face new challenges daily, enabling you to enhance your HR skills and expertise across diverse areas of interest!
You will:
- Be the main point of contact for our employees and provide operational HR advice and support on a broad range of topics, including company regulations and policies, local labor law aspects, terms of employment, benefits, visa matters, etc.
- Manage HR processes throughout the entire employee life cycle, from onboarding to contract management, leave management and offboarding.
- Drive operational excellence in HR by ensuring efficient, sustainable, and user-friendly end-to-end processes.
- Oversee data management in our HR system, Workday, and lead initiatives to enhance processes within the tool.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders within the People Team, including People Partners, Payroll, and People Systems.
- Foster strong relationships to ensure an exceptional employee experience, supporting employees in moments that matter in alignment with GetYourGuide's global People strategy.
Who you are
- A university degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, or a related field.
- At least 2-3 years of experience in HR operations within a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in German, both spoken and written.
- Strong communication skills in English, both spoken and written. Additional language skills are a plus.
- In-depth knowledge of German labor law; familiarity with HR topics and labor laws in EMEA and/or APAC is advantageous.
- Experience with HRIS (preferably Workday), Jira (Service Desk) and GSuite.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills: a people-oriented individual who understands employee needs and can effectively guide diverse stakeholders.
