What You’ll DoOwn the full employee lifecycle end to end — onboarding, job and compensation changes, leave administration, and offboarding — setting the standards and documentation the rest of the company follows. Serve as a key operational partner to Talent, IT, and Office Management.
Own and evolve Suno’s HRIS, leading system migrations, maintaining accurate employee records, and ensuring ongoing compliance with documentation requirements.
Build and maintain employee-facing information and resource pages, keeping content current and easy to navigate as the company grows.
Partner closely with Finance and People leadership on payroll, owning the People-side inputs — new hires, job and pay changes, terminations, and deductions — and reconciling them each cycle for timely, accurate execution.
Own immigration case management for employees, coordinating with external counsel and internal stakeholders from initiation through approval.
Identify and drive system and workflow efficiencies across People Operations by proactively finding opportunities to automate, streamline, and scale processes through AI and modern tooling.
Lead People programs and cross-functional projects end to end, from engagement initiatives to policy updates and beyond, improving the overall employee experience.
Serve as the owner of headcount and org data, partnering with Talent, Finance, and leadership to keep workforce information accurate and decision-ready as talent plans evolve.
Act as the subject-matter expert and escalation point for People Operations across the company, raising the bar on how the team operates and mentoring teammates as the function grows.
6+ years of experience in People Operations, HR, or a related generalist role, ideally in a fast-growing tech company
Strong analytical skills and deep hands-on experience managing HRIS and people systems (e.g., Rippling, ADP, BambooHR, Workday, or similar), including migrations and data integrity
Experience leveraging AI tools and building automated workflows to improve operational efficiency on the People team
Deep working knowledge of US employment compliance, including record-keeping, I-9 requirements, and state/federal regulations
Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail; you manage many concurrent workstreams without losing the thread
High comfort with ambiguity and troubleshooting; you can navigate shifting priorities and figure things out when there’s no playbook
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build trust across teams and work cross-functionally with ease
Hands-on experience with payroll processing and the ability to partner effectively with Finance and the team or vendor running it; full ownership of payroll is not required, but fluency in how it works is
Experience managing immigration processes, including coordinating with external counsel, tracking case statuses, and managing documentation for visa and work authorization needs
Experience administering leave management programs, including medical, parental, and other statutory leaves, with working knowledge of applicable federal and state leave laws
A track record of operating autonomously and influencing without authority — you’ve owned an operational domain end to end and driven change across teams without direct reports
