Role OverviewThe People Operations Lead will be responsible for building and scaling a high-performing People function that supports the company's continued growth. Reporting directly to the CEO, the successful candidate will lead talent acquisition, employee experience, people operations, compliance, and performance management while fostering a strong, inclusive culture and ensuring the organization attracts, develops, and retains top talent.

What You'll DoLead end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and employer branding initiatives to attract, hire, and retain top talent.
Oversee core People Operations, including HR administration, payroll coordination, compliance, employee relations, and HR systems.
Drive employee engagement, performance management, learning and development, and culture initiatives that support a high-performing workplace.
Partner with leadership on workforce planning, organizational design, compensation, and people strategies that support business growth.
Monitor key HR metrics, provide people insights to leadership, and ensure compliance with Nigerian labour laws and HR best practices.
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field. Professional certifications such as CIPM, SHRM, or CIPD are an advantage.
Minimum of 7 years' experience in Human Resources or People Operations, including at least 2 years in a leadership role, preferably within a fast-paced startup, technology, or service environment.
Strong knowledge of talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, HR operations, and Nigerian labour laws.
Excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and conflict resolution skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
Highly organized, proactive, emotionally intelligent, and comfortable working in a dynamic, high-growth environment.

Skills Required
