What You Will Do
Reporting to the SVP of People, as the People Operations Generalist at Formstack, you’ll play a critical role in supporting and improving our core People programs and processes across the employee lifecycle. This position is key to delivering an exceptional employee experience in a fast-paced, global environment. You’ll partner closely with the People team and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure operational excellence, employee support, and seamless execution of HR processes. Strong attention to detail, a collaborative mindset, and a proactive, can-do attitude will be essential to success.
How You Will Succeed
- Own end-to-end new hire onboarding process and act as the ‘welcome wagon’ and new hire concierge, getting ‘stackers on board and up to speed as quickly as possible.
- Support the execution and day-to-day maintenance of People programs that support the Stacker lifecycle, including onboarding/offboarding, benefits administration, leave of absence tracking, performance reviews, compensation cycles, employee recognition, and compliance-related workflows.
- Be the go-to resource for all Stacker-related questions.
- Support immigration processes for Stackers in partnership with our external legal counsel. Coordinate logistics and communications for culture and engagement initiatives, working with internal teams and external vendors as needed.
- Review employment verification requests and generate responses accordingly.
- Respond to and route HR requests and concerns. Manage the People Ops ticket queue, ensuring that every request receives a response in a timely manner.
- Post job openings and manage requisitions.
- Setting up interviews and providing first class candidate experience.
- Respond to candidate inquiries promptly, fostering a positive and engaging communication process.
- Maintain data accuracy in Lever, ensuring seamless candidate tracking and up-to-date records.
- Prepare and extend offer letters to selected candidates, ensuring a smooth and professional offer process.
- Maintain employee records and HRIS data, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely updates.
- Partner with People Insights Analyst to support HRIS reporting and dashboards, supporting weekly reporting and ongoing people data requests.
- Help identify areas to automate or streamline processes.
- Regularly leverage HR data to make improvements to current processes, develop HR & engagement initiatives and define people processes.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee questions about policies, processes, and benefits, delivering a high level of customer service.
- Escalate more complex issues appropriately to the SVP, People when needed.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation of People policies, processes, and workflows.
- Help ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, as well as internal standards, through regular audits and checklists.
- Contribute to People team projects as assigned, such as process improvements, growth and development initiatives, and employee engagement surveys.
- Assist in executing engagement initiatives and supporting ongoing feedback loops.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What We Are Looking For
- 3-5 years of People Operations or other similar experience
- Knowledge of HRIS platforms or other similar systems
- Excellent organizational skills to manage a high-volume workload
- Ability to communicate effectively in a dynamic environment
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills across teams
- Demonstrated competency with multi-tasking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills while working in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skillsStrong verbal and written communication skills in communicating with employees via email, slack, and virtual meetings
- Ability to work with confidential information and deal with it appropriately
Bonus Points
- Prior experience as an administrator or end-user of Rippling, Lever and Lattice
- A passion for AI and exploring how it can drive efficiency and scale in People operations.
This is a full-time position based in our Denver office, with an expectation to be in the office 3 days per week.
