As our People Operations Generalist, you’ll be the high-energy champion of our company culture, creating meaningful connections that make employees feel welcomed, supported, and inspired. You’ll be handling essential HR administrative tasks—keeping the backbone of our operations running smoothly—as you manage onboarding logistics, internal mobility processes, and performance management. Working closely with our Talent Acquisition team and managers, you’ll expertly handle the details that shape seamless HR experiences, ensuring compliance with labor laws while playing a vital role in supporting career transitions and growth. This dynamic position involves collaboration across multiple departments to elevate onboarding and ignite employee engagement, making each stage of the employee journey an exciting opportunity to grow, connect, and thrive.

   
Onboarding Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the end-to-end onboarding process, ensuring new hires are welcomed and integrated into the company culture.
  • Prepare and manage all necessary onboarding documentation, including employment contracts, offer letters, and correspondence with hiring managers; assist with benefits information as needed.
  • Coordinate and lead orientation sessions for new hires, ensuring new employees understand company policies, culture, and their roles.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with new employees to ensure a positive and engaging onboarding experience.
  • Gather feedback on the onboarding process and suggest improvements through onboarding surveys and employee feedback.

HR Generalist Responsibilities:

  • Support the heartbeat of the HR functions by responding to People Operations tickets and acting as a go-to resource for employee inquiries.
  • Manage HRIS data entry to keep employee records accurate and up to date.
  • Play a key role in the employee performance review processes, providing administrative support and guidance.
  • Ensure practices and policies align with labor laws and HR policies, updating and implementing them as necessary to keep us compliant and thriving.
  • Foster a vibrant workplace culture and spearhead employee engagement initiatives, from surveys to employee recognition awards.
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion
  • Generate regular HR reports, including headcount, turnover, and anniversary; analyze and provide insights to management as needed

Other Duties:

Intern Program: Lead and manage the intern program, from recruitment and onboarding to development and mentorship, ensuring a positive and impactful experience for interns and aligning their contributions with department goals.

Internal Mobility Support: Collaborate with managers to identify opportunities for employee growth within the company.

Reporting and Analytics: Prepare regular HR reports (such as turnover and headcount) to support data-driven decision-making for leadership. Support compliance reporting related to equal employment opportunity (EEO), diversity, and other workforce requirements.

Employee Relations: Serve as a trusted point of contact for employee concerns, managing sensitive situations with professionalism and empathy. Assist in resolving employee issues, and escalating complex matters to People team leadership as appropriate.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of Human Resources experience, focusing on onboarding and generalist responsibilities.
  • Strong understanding of HR best practices, labor laws, and employment standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience with onboarding and talent management platforms.
