Zoox is looking for a People Operations Coordinator to join our Talent Insights & Systems team. The Coordinator will support a vast array of People Operations initiatives at our scaling company. This position will make sure we are compliant and precise in the handling of our employees’ data, and build a great employee experience throughout all phases of the employee’s lifecycle. The Coordinator is expected to be aware of all the moving components on the team and help us remain organized, ensuring we meet our deadlines and produce our deliverables.
In this role, you will:
- Support day-to-day HR processes including facilitating all aspects of employee lifecycle: on-boarding, focal reviews, off-boarding, employee data changes, Leaves of Absence, Workers’ Compensation, open enrollment, records retention and other aspects as needed
- Support onboarding orientation, including leading a training session with new hires, managing onboarding documentation, I9 verification, offer letters, eVerify, etc.
- Support Workday processes such as employee data changes, ad hoc reporting, data validation, system testing, etc.
- Respond to employee queries on basic People policies and practices such as Leave of Absence policy, PTO, benefits plans, wellness offerings, etc.
- Create and maintain HR process documentation.
- Manage electronic employee files with discretion and confidentiality to ensure compliance, accuracy, and data integrity
- Coordinate project timelines and deliverables among all key stakeholders, vendors, end-users & clients, internal resources to ensure delivery of team initiatives
- Identify and facilitate internal process improvements
- Assist with ad-hoc projects as needed
- Respond to employment verifications by phone or otherwise
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 2+ years of experience in an HR role
- Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to multitask and concurrently manage multiple projects
- Experience working with Workday HCM
- Strong interpersonal, communication and customer service skills
Bonus Qualifications
- Degree in Human Resources, business, or related field
- Recent experience with Lever, Docusign, G Suite
- Experience working in a fast-paced and quickly growing startup environment
Location
This hybrid role entails working in the office three days per week in our Foster City office (HQ).
Compensation
There are three major components to compensation for this position: salary, Amazon Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), and Zoox Stock Appreciation Rights. The salary range for this position is $83,000 to $116,000. A sign-on bonus may be offered as part of the compensation package. Compensation will vary based on geographic location and level. Leveling, as well as positioning within a level, is determined by a range of factors, including, but not limited to, a candidate's relevant years of experience, domain knowledge, and interview performance. The salary range listed in this posting is representative of the range of levels Zoox is considering for this position.
