The  People Operations Analyst will support AstroPay’s People department by maintaining and improving People Ops processes and systems. This role will ensure operational excellence in HR services, contributing to smooth onboarding, payroll, benefits, and data management. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and driven to create efficiencies within the HR function.

Tasks & Responsibilities: 

  • HR Data Management & Reporting:
    • Manage and maintain HR systems, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
    • Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports on key HR metrics, including headcount, turnover, and payroll accuracy.
    • Ensure compliance with local HR regulations and standards, keeping up-to-date records.
  • HR Process Optimization:
    • Analyze existing HR processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement.
    • Implement new HR tools and technologies to streamline processes.
  • Payroll & Benefits Administration:
    • Collaborate with payroll teams to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
    • Support the administration of employee benefits programs, responding to queries and ensuring employees are informed.
    • Reconcile benefits and payroll data to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
  • Employee Lifecycle Support:
    • Provide operational support for onboarding, offboarding, and employee lifecycle processes.
    • Manage the employee documentation process, including contracts, job changes, and terminations.
    • Ensure a seamless experience for new hires, facilitating smooth transitions.
  • Compliance & Policy Adherence:
    • Assist in updating HR policies as needed, ensuring alignment with regulatory changes.
  • HR Systems & Tools:
    • Act as the HR systems expert, managing employee data and records in HRIS (Human Resources Information System).
    • Train HR team members on system functionalities and help troubleshoot technical issues.

Experience & Qualification Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in HR operations, data analysis, or payroll.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to data accuracy.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to optimize processes.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
  • Familiarity with local labor laws and HR compliance requirements.
  • Ability to manage confidential information with integrity.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working in a fast-paced, multinational organization.
  • Knowledge of payroll systems and benefit administration.
  • Familiarity with HR analytics and reporting tools.
