Stolt Tank Containers (STC) is a leading provider of door-to-door transportation services for bulk- liquid chemicals and food-grade products. What you will be doing
As a People Officer, you will play a crucial role in the HR operations at Stolt Tank Containers for our site in Ljubljana. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting day-to-day HR administration and collaborating with hiring managers to support the recruitment process. You will be involved in the onboarding process, arranging medical checks, and managing all necessary employment documentation, ensuring compliance with Slovene labor laws. 
The role requires creating bilingual employment contracts and overseeing the offboarding process as well. You will be coordinating shifts and attendance alongside the Office Manager and Team Leads. In addition, you will assist with performance management cases in collaboration with the operations People Team, keeping the system updated, and managing both physical and digital employee files. You will work closely with payroll for attendance tracking, ensuring all employee records and compliance documents are accurately filed and retrieved.

Key responsibilities
•    Conduct day-to-day administration for the HR department.
•    Collaborate with hiring managers, recruiter and team leads to support the hiring process.
•    Create bilingual employment contracts and other required documentation.
•    Assist with onboarding (safety training, setting up workspaces, etc.) and offboarding employees, including plan annual medical checks for new and current employees.
•    Guide performance cases in collaboration with the operations People team.
•    Update employee registration system with mutations.
•    Manage employee files and compliance documentation.
•    Coordinate shifts and attendance with the Office Manager, Team Leads and Payroll.
•    Assist with compliance documentation and track employee attendance and leave records.
•    Contribute to maintain the Slovenia country HR page up to date, while ensuring information and policies comply with Slovenian legislation.

Qualifications
•    Minimum of bachelor education level.
•    At least 3 years of solid experience in a HR related job, including knowledge of Slovene labor law and regulations
•    Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to maintain confidentiality for sensitive topics. 
•    Independent and proactive mindset, with self-directed work environment proficiency.
•    Organized with attention to detail.
•    Fluent in Slovene and English.
