Role overview:

The People Experience (PX) Consultant is a trusted advisor and operational excellence partner to HR Business Partners (HRBPs), senior leaders and employees across EMEA, currently spanning at least eight jurisdictions. Working across SIE’s Corporate and Studios organisations, the role combines day-to-day HR delivery with complex project and change management, helping to drive engagement, performance and organisational effectiveness.

Operating within a global matrix, the PX Consultant provides expert guidance on HR policy, employment matters and best practice, while partnering with HRBPs, in-country HR teams, Legal and Employee Relations (ER). The role will lead and contribute to complex HR projects, organisational design and regional/global initiatives, using strong analytical capability and sound judgement to solve problems, improve processes and ensure high-quality HR delivery.

As SIE continues to centralise and globalise its People model across EMEA, the PX Consultant will play an important role in helping business leaders and the wider People team navigate this transition. Working closely with two Senior HRBP Leads across Corporate and Studios, the successful candidate will need to flex across different business models, jurisdictions and stakeholder groups while helping establish effective relationships between local teams and the central People organisation.

What you’ll be doing: 

  • Collaborate with the Senior HRM (EMEA), HRBP’s, in-country HR Managers and Legal to review, refine, and support the successful delivery of global change management initiatives 
  • Demonstrate the ability to independently manage and deliver complex HR projects across multiple regions in collaboration with global stakeholders within a highly matrixed organisation 
  • Work closely with our Legal and ER teams to deliver subject matter expertise on HR policies, practices, and legal requirements across EMEA 
  • Partner with global PX teams to execute initiatives that promote engagement, belonging, compensation, benefits, and career growth 
  • Provide operational support in all stages of the performance management process including data calibration, data insights and advice/guidance 
  • Provide system and logistical support for talent mapping, succession planning, and leadership development programs.  
  • Partner with Total Rewards and HRBPs on job architecture, compensation benchmarking, and the internal mobility  
  • Manage and escalate complex employee and manager issues to our Centers of Excellence (COE) once all possible routes have been exhausted, offering clear recommendations and options. 
  • Own and maintain a high level of data accuracy and input within Workday and Nexus (Service Now), using this data as a source of insights into continuous improvement strategies 
  • Champion best practice in the People Experience (PXC) function  
  • Champion a strong continuous improvement culture to ensure the deployment of scalable, simplified and standardized processes within  
  • Work collaboratively across PX functions including our PX Advisors, Legal, COE’s, HRBP’s, in-country HR Managers in various time zones etc. and with our Global partners to ensure consistency and innovation in our people processes.  

What we’re looking for:

  • Minimum of 10 years’ (or equivalent) experience working as an HR Generalist and/or HR Business Partner.
  • Significant experience operating within a global, highly matrixed organisation, ideally within technology, media, retail or gaming.
  • Demonstrable international HR generalist experience supporting employees and leaders across multiple European countries/jurisdictions.
  • Strong working knowledge of employment legislation, HR practices and cultural nuances across multiple EMEA jurisdictions.
  • Proven experience managing complex employee lifecycle matters and employee relations issues, alongside broader HR projects.
  • Proven ability to independently manage and deliver complex change initiatives across multiple countries and stakeholder groups.
  • Experience using Workday and HR analytics/data to support decision-making and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively and influence without authority.
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity and within fast-paced, evolving environments.
  • Confident managing complex and sensitive situations, demonstrating discretion, sound judgement and well-reasoned decision-making.
  • A collaborative, solutions-focused mindset with a strong focus on operational excellence and continuous improvement.

Desirable:

  • Fluency in an additional European language is highly desirable.
  • CIPD qualified (Level 5–7) or equivalent HR qualification/experience.
