We are seeking an experienced and strategic People Director to lead and support people initiatives across two key areas of our business:
- The MENA region, with a strong emphasis on UAE and KSA.
- Our globally distributed Creative Hub, working closely with teams and leaders across 8–9 international markets.
This is a broad and dynamic role requiring a strong generalist background, deep regional knowledge, and a global mindset. You will be responsible for driving people strategy, enhancing organisational culture, supporting growth, and enabling operational excellence - while ensuring alignment with business goals and employee needs.
The role will require collaboration with local HR partners in various regions - especially for the Creative Hub - particularly in areas such as employment contracts, labour law compliance, and cultural alignment.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership across MENA and the Creative Hub.
- Develop a comprehensive people plan that integrates performance, operational excellence and organisational culture.
- Champion a client-centric mindset by ensuring team structures, skills, and behaviours align with service excellence and client delivery.
- Collaborate closely with regional and global leaders to ensure people decisions are insight-led and future-focused.
- Lead all people-related activity in the MENA region, with specific expertise in UAE and KSA, including compliance with local labour laws, visa requirements, and nationalisation programs (Emiratisation and Saudisation).
- Drive employee engagement, retention, and high performance
- Support change management and restructuring initiatives as needed
- Tailor people practices to accommodate legal, cultural, and organisational differences across UAE, KSA, South Africa, Egypt, Lebanon, and India.
- Collaborate with in-market HR teams Globally on employment contracts, onboarding, local policy compliance, and local employment law guidance.
- Champion a strong, inclusive culture that supports creativity, collaboration, and growth.
- Maintain accurate people data for Creative Hub employees to support precise headcount tracking, budgeting, and workforce planning.
- Create a consistent people experience while respecting regional and cultural nuances.
- Lead structured cycles of feedback, development planning, and goal setting (PDPs, OKRs) to drive growth and accountability.
- Establish clear talent mapping and succession planning for critical roles across both areas.
- Coach leaders and managers on effective performance conversations and talent development.
- Leverage performance and engagement data to inform LD&G initiatives.
- Ensure organisational change is supported by strong, scalable HR structures, policies, and processes.
- Maintain a bulletproof, centralised employee database that supports business decisions, compliance, and efficiency.
- Identify and implement opportunities to streamline operations, improve systems, and reduce admin overhead.
- Monitor key HR metrics and report on progress toward operational and cultural goals.
- Shape and execute a long-term recruitment strategy in collaboration with the Group TA function.
- Enhance the employer brand in key talent markets to attract high-performing, culturally aligned candidates.
- Drive a data-informed hiring process using BambooHR and other relevant tools.
- Build strong relationships with external recruitment partners to support global and regional hiring needs.
