As a People Development Partner on Stripe’s People Development team (part of the Talent & Development org), you will play an instrumental role in developing Stripes (especially managers) through a variety of user-focused learning programs and experiences. This person will have broad expertise in the people development space, including content design and development, program management, project management, and virtual and IRL facilitation. The ideal candidate is a highly proactive self-motivator who has a pulse on the latest trends in talent development and a proven track record of designing, delivering, and evaluating exceptional learning experiences aligned to business strategy.
What you’ll doResponsibilitiesLearning experience design
- Own the learning experience design process end-to-end from intake to delivery
- Leverage a users-first, data-driven approach to design highly relevant, highly impactful People Development product offerings that support Stripe’s strategy
- Support key Stripe initiatives by owning, designing, and developing suites of enablement assets including job aids, manager guides, and live/virtual training sessions
- Partner with Stripe leaders to operationalize Stripe’s strategy and culture through People Development products
Program management
- Architect and execute programs and experiences that support Stripe employees at global scale and at different career moments
- Manage People Development programs end-to-end, including designing, marketing, facilitating, and evaluating program content
- Qualitatively and quantitatively assess and improve the effectiveness of programs to demonstrate impact in line with business objectives
Project management
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and subject matter experts during the design and development process, establishing project timelines, addressing user feedback, and ensuring alignment, engagement, and expectation management
- Consult with business leaders to understand their needs and solicit their input, appropriate sponsorship, engagement, and alignment
Facilitation
- Regularly facilitate live development sessions, especially as part of the ongoing Manager Development Product Suite (primarily virtually via Zoom, some IRL)

Minimum requirements- 5-8+ years of experience in relevant L&D and/or leadership development roles
- Extensive experience serving manager and leader populations with an ability to flex content and facilitation to the needs of employees at varying seniority levels
- Extensive experience navigating ambiguity and building effective solutions that scale (experience designing learning experiences in a high-growth environment a plus)
- Strong experience serving in a consultative capacity to senior leaders and teams to build bespoke development solutions tailored to their unique needs
- Deep knowledge of adult learning principles to deliver large-scale development programs and interventions
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Experience leveraging technology and AI to curate and deliver high-impact learning
- Experience building in a variety of learning formats: ILT (live and virtual) and on-demand
- Demonstrated expertise in using data to inform decisions on effectiveness of development experiences - and an understanding of what creates both learning and behavior change resulting in measurable improvement
- Demonstrated ability to partner and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders
- Advanced project management capabilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, self-directed, and highly collaborative environment
- Strong virtual and in-person facilitation experience
- Experience working with learning and development vendors, including managing existing relationships and developing new ones
- Experience with eLearning development and graphic design (experience with Articulate 360 and Google Suite preferred)
