We are looking for a People Data, Analytics, and Insights Intern to join our team. In this role, you will work on high-visibility projects related to Spellman’s employee surveying and engagement program. Under the supervision of the Global Manager of People Data, Analytics, and Insights, you will develop, pilot, and collect feedback on key projects dedicated to improving the employee experience. This internship is an excellent opportunity to build skills in employee listening, insight development, and data storytelling within a global manufacturing company.

What You Will Do:

• Drive development of a comprehensive, post-survey action planning process based on the latest peer-reviewed research and leading best practices

• Prototype products (e.g., dashboards, scorecards) to summarize aggregate global employee feedback to key stakeholders

• Support the development of additional global employee lifecycle surveys (e.g., onboarding, promotion, stay, exit)

• Contribute to other key initiatives, such as:

  • Realignment of a structured assessment and selection program

  • Identifying criteria to quantify the outcomes of new development programs

  • Development of a scalable, consistent approach to documenting Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics for new jobs, and maintaining documentation for existing jobs

• Provide flexible support for ad-hoc support requests sent to the People Analytics group as needed

What You Need:

• Current enrollment in a graduate degree program in Industrial-Organizational Psychology, Organizational Behavior, Applied Social Psychology, or a related field

• Advanced experience with designing, piloting, validating, deploying, and analyzing psychological surveys

• Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and organizational skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft products (e.g., Excel, Powerpoint, etc.)

How You Could Stand Out:

• Experience collaborating with partners around the globe

• Experience collaborating with HR or I-O psychology practitioners working in industry

• Experience with pre-hire assessment development, job analysis, training development, and/or employee surveying in an operational environment

• Experience developing high-quality, engaging data visualizations

• A demonstrated passion for improving peoples’ well-being and experience of work

Program Duration:

• 3 months, with the option to extend further

• 20 hours per week

• Program Start: June 2025

Compensation & Work Format:

• Our good faith estimate for the rate for this role is $22 - $25 per hour. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and other factors.

• This is a remote position, restricted to work in the United States.
