Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated People & Culture Specialist to join our team in Guadalajara. This role is pivotal in supporting our employees and ensuring a vibrant and engaging work environment. The People & Culture Specialist will play a key role in executing our HR strategies and initiatives. This hybrid role requires a strong presence in the office three days a week, with flexibility to work remotely for the remaining two days. The successful candidate will support the People & Culture Manager in various HR functions, ensuring alignment with our company values and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction.
- Organize and coordinate company events, team-building activities, and other cultural initiatives.
- Assist in the recruitment process, including posting job openings, screening resumes, and coordinating interviews.
- Support the onboarding process to ensure new hires are integrated smoothly and effectively.
- Maintain employee records and ensure data accuracy in our HRIS system, BambooHR.
- Assist with HR documentation, including contracts, agreements, and policy updates.
- Support the performance review process and help facilitate feedback sessions.
- Assist in the development and implementation of performance improvement plans.
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws and company policies.
- Act as a point of contact for employee queries and concerns.
- Support conflict resolution and foster a positive work environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Equivalent work experience will be considered in lieu of a formal degree.
- 2+ years of experience in a similar role within HR / People & Culture.
- Strong knowledge of Mexican labor laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in HRIS and MS Office applications.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Professional Fluency in both Spanish and English is required.
