We are looking for a bright and passionate People & Culture Manager to join our Hong Kong office and global People & Culture team. You will spend most of your time working and connecting with employees across the APAC region and specifically in the Hong Kong office located in Sheung Wan. Your role will focus on delivering P&C Leadership, Operations & Processes, Talent Acquisition, the set up of our Malaysian team, and local initiatives which champion our unique company culture.

People & Culture Leadership and Operations (60%)

  • Lead onboarding and offboarding; you will manage all steps with new hires and leavers.
  • Compensation and benefits; as an expert, you will manage, advise on and administer company benefits for APAC, as well as advise employees on policies and perks.
  • Visas and mobility; you will support employees with visa requirements and manage inbound and outbound transfers.
  • HR Information Systems management; as a BambooHR expert, you will be responsible for the management of our employee data, as well as regularly report and share insights to help the business make decisions. 
  • Employee relations and employment legislation; strong legislative knowledge and expert with managing ER matters.
  • An advocate and leader for our culture: you will be a key influencer of culture in the APAC region, you will be proactive with connecting with employees, bringing teams together, celebrating and supporting our talent.
  • Regional expansion; as we expand into new countries, you will be responsible for working as part of the core team on the new location setup, including designing the HR and employment policies.  
  • Projects; you will have the opportunity to lead and collaborate on projects that make a difference to our people and add value to the company, including recruitment, engagement, wellbeing, and diversity & inclusion.

Talent Acquisition (30-40%)

  • Candidate attraction & sourcing; supported and mentored by the global TA team, you will ensure we implement effective talent attraction strategies.
  • Candidate management; liaise with prospective candidates, be a champion for the company and build relationships. 
  • Interview scheduling; collaborate with the global TA team and local hiring managers to schedule interviews for APAC.
  • Applicant Tracking System; accurately update all essential information on Greenhouse.
  • Support the creation of Job Descriptions and Advertisements. 
  • Agency point of contact.
  • Share insights on local market practices and strategies with Global TA.

  • Excellent communication skills, including Cantonese and business level verbal and written English level
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • A self starter who learns quickly and takes initiative and ownership
  • Ability to quickly build rapport with different levels of management
  • Excellent organization skills and attention to detail

  • Flexibility to work across different timezones in collaboration with the UK, Brazil and Canada
