Job Description

We are offering a rigorous 6-month HR internship programme designed to enhance your technical skills and professional development. This internship provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic HR environment within the hospitality industry.

As a People & Culture Intern, you will be entrusted with critical responsibilities that directly impact our organisation's human resources operations. Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

 

  • Upholding the hotel's standards of excellence with unwavering commitment in all tasks undertaken, recognising that your performance directly reflects on our organisation's reputation
  • Meticulously maintaining Team Member files, ensuring absolute accuracy and confidentiality at all times
  • Assisting in the crucial process of talent acquisition by posting job adverts and conducting preliminary screenings of applications with utmost diligence
  • Updating HR spreadsheets, databases, and HR Systems under close supervision, understanding the critical nature of data integrity in HR operations
  • Providing comprehensive administrative support for hearings, recognising the sensitive and often legal implications of these proceedings

Qualifications

Essential Requirements:

  • Current enrolment in a recognised tertiary institution, with official documentation confirming eligibility for internship. This is a non-negotiable prerequisite.
  • Pursuit of a qualification in Human Resources, Labour Law, or a closely related field is mandatory.
  • Unequivocal commitment to a maximum 6-month internship period, without exception or possibility of extension.
  • Demonstrable passion for excellence in service delivery and collaborative teamwork, evidenced by past academic or professional achievements.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, crucial for maintaining operational excellence in a high-stakes environment.
  • Verifiable track record of determination and resilience in academic or professional pursuits, with concrete examples required.
  • Native-level fluency in English, with superior verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency will be rigorously assessed.
