Position Overview:

​We are looking for a friendly and professional People & Culture Coordinator to join our small but mighty team. This person will help to create a positive and inclusive work environment for our employees. Reporting to the People Operations & Culture Manager, the Coordinator will play a pivotal role in supporting our People & Culture department. This person will be responsible for various human resources functions, including benefits management, file maintenance, recruiting support, and HRIS administration. With exceptional interpersonal skills and knowledge of HR best practices, the coordinator will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of People & Culture activities to attract, develop, and retain top talent on the Bose Professional team. 


Key Responsibilities: 

  • Provide support to employees regarding HR-related inquiries, including benefits administration, policy implementation, and HRIS self-service use
  • Manage HRIS system, ADP Workforce Now, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies as well as reporting through the system
  • Administer benefits plans, including enrollments, changes, and terminations 
  • Perform monthly benefits invoice reconciliation 
  • Assist with new hire onboarding including ordering background checks, completing and verifying Forms I-9, and scheduling orientations 
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation and perform periodic audits of files/records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately 
  • Assist the Recruiting, People & Culture Manager with resume reviews, phone screens, and interview scheduling 
  • Conduct periodic audits to ensure compliance with company policies, as well as federal, state, and local regulations
  • Stay informed about changes in HR laws and regulations and recommend necessary updates to policies and procedures
  • Assists with planning and execution of special events such as open enrollment, organization-wide meetings, employee recognition events, and holiday parties

Qualifications: 

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt to changing priorities
  • Working understanding of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations
  • Experience working in HRIS systems required, experience with ADP Workforce Now preferred
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite 
  • 1-3 years of previous experience working in a human resources role
  • Bachelor's degree preferred 
  • HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus
