The Role

At Red Hat, we’re passionate about delivering exceptional associate experiences. The People Coordinator plays a key role in supporting global HR functions and shared service delivery across regions and business areas. As part of the AI and Automation ecosystem, you’ll help associates navigate HR processes using AI tools designed to simplify work, minimize risk, and enhance productivity.

You’ll apply sound judgment and work with minimal supervision to provide timely, accurate, and human-centered HR support. From onboarding to benefits and beyond, you’ll help make sure every interaction with the People team which reflects Red Hat’s culture of openness, accountability, and care.

What will you do:

  • Provide end-to-end HR support to associates, addressing inquiries related to various employment lifecycle topics.

  • Participate in a range of HR support activities, including managing high-volume, varied tickets.

  • Conduct research using Knowledge Base Articles (KBAs) and relevant policies to ensure accurate and consistent information is shared.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve HR-related issues, escalating to specialists as required.

  • Process and administer HR employee forms and documents, including new-hire, change-of-status, benefits, and terminations.

  • Identify knowledge gaps and enhance both associate-facing and internal knowledge base content.

  • Provide coordination and administrative support for HR projects and process improvement initiatives.

  • Collaborate with vendors on operational matters, log issues, and deliver first-level support using vendor-provided information.
     

What will you bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • 2–4 years of HR operations or shared services experience, preferably in a global or technology-driven organization.

  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; customer-service orientation is essential.

  • Familiarity with HR systems, case management tools, or ticketing platforms.

  • Experience or strong interest in working with AI, automation tools, or digital HR platforms will be an advantage.
