The Role

Lead is a fintech building banking infrastructure for embedded financial products and services. We operate an FDIC-insured bank headquartered in Kansas City, Missouri. Additionally, we have offices in San Francisco, Sunnyvale, and New York City, where our technical, product, design, and legal teams operate.

Role Description: We are seeking a People Coordinator to join our growing team. Under the direction of the People Manager, this role involves handling team member inquiries, maintaining HR records, entry-level recruiting, and assisting with other HR-related functions. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, a passion for supporting all Lead team members and contributing to a positive workplace culture.

In this role you will:

  • Assist with daily HR operations, including record-keeping and routine administrative tasks.
  • Recruit for entry-level roles 
  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Order and manage Labor Law Posters and conduct regular audits to ensure poster compliance.
  • Oversee the People team inboxes on email and Slack for efficient communication.
  • Schedule training sessions for new hires.
  • Contribute to engagement efforts via Slack.
  • Manage electronic filing and document organization.
  • Handle company swag distribution, create new hire welcome boxes, and order business cards and name tags as necessary.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience providing HR support or in an HR environment
  • Are curious, have humility, and are open to learning
  • Thrive working in a fluid environment with high autonomy
  • Love to collaborate to get the best, most efficient outcome
  • Embody the growth mindset and bring a self-driven and self-starter mentality to your work
  • Have high ethical standards
