Join the expanding Five9 People Team as we seek a People Compliance Analyst to bolster our program and meet the needs of our growing business. In this role, you'll serve as an employment regulation subject matter expert, collaborating closely with our Legal and Compliance and People teams to guide and implement global People policies and ensure compliance with legal obligations. This role is hybrid. 3 days a week (M, W, TH) in office is required.

Responsibilities: 

  • Identify and track laws and regulations affecting organizational policies, practices, and procedures and proactively partner with Legal and People teams on upcoming changes. 
  • Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local employment regulations as defined by our Legal teams, operationalizing Five9’s People Programs and processes. 
  • Manage multiple People Compliance programs and projects, serving as program manager. 
  • Lead projects to implement new legal requirements, including training, policy updates, and process changes. 
  • Coordinate responses to internal and external compliance audits and requests, such as SOX/SOC controls. 
  • Oversee regulatory compliance report filings and manage stakeholder collaboration. 
  • Maintain and update People Policies, Employee Handbook, and record retention schedules. 
  • Manage I-9, background verification adjudications, and labor law posting requirements. 
  • Handle other assigned duties as necessary. 

Requirements: 

  • 3+ years of experience in HR Compliance or HR Generalist roles with implementing compliance responsibilities 
  • Familiarity with SOX, SOC 
  • Ability to engage in consultative approaches with all levels of management 
  • Proficiency in multitasking and meeting deadlines with limited supervision 
  • Experience leading large cross-functional projects 
  • Familiarity with mandatory government reporting domestically 
  • Strong understanding of people policies, governmental laws, and regulations 
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills, capable of conveying complex ideas to various audiences 
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality when handling sensitive information 
  • Resourcefulness, organizational skills, and ability to multitask effectively 
  • Analytical thinking and attention to detail 
  • Proactive and self-initiating approach to facilitating change 
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience 

Preferred: 

  • International experience 
  • Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth tech environment.

Additionally, the total compensation package for this position may also include an annual performance bonus, stock, and/or other applicable incentive compensation plans.

The US base salary range for this role is below.

$76,400$114,600 USD
