[solidcore] is looking for a People Business Partner to join our HQ team. Our ideal team member will play a crucial role as the strategic business partner to our Field Leadership Teams. The People Business Partner would provide ongoing consulting to leaders, serve as the point of contact for employees, addressing their concerns, resolving disputes and promoting a [strong] work environment. The role will use people metrics, KPI’s and themes to make informed decisions and recommendations for continuous improvement as well as promote diversity, equity, inclusion and belongingness to foster a culture of psychological safety and equity.


Located in vibrant Arlington, Virginia and reporting to the Director of People, this is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing, investor-backed organization with a desire to be the leader in the studio fitness space.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer performance evaluation processes, ensuring fair and consistent reviews across the organization, and influence future processes in partnership with the learning and development team.
  • Partner with leaders to manage performance improvement plans and provide guidance on performance-related matters.
  • Effectively provide feedback, coach leaders, and provide guidance aligned to [solidcore] policies and procedures.
  • Lead succession planning in partnership with leaders to anticipate future trends, their implications, and apply appropriate talent strategies to address gaps.
  • Leverage real-time coaching, assessment, and observation to develop and position talent for future leadership success.
  • Conduct or supervise investigations and maintain appropriate documentation for employee-related issues and disciplinary actions.
  • Ensure the company's People policies and procedures comply with applicable labor laws and regulations.
  • Drive consistent and equitable deployment of compensation and benefits programs, ensuring proactive engagement and alignment on market analyses, regulatory responses, and critical policy changes to ensure competitive salary structures, benefits packages, and incentive plans.
  • Drive change management practices to enable organizational effectiveness, incorporating diversity & inclusion strategy to foster a culture of inclusion that will maximize our competitive advantage and skills of the workforce.
  • Facilitate cultural integration planning and develop strategies to foster employee engagement and commitment.
  • Independently partner with leaders consistently on all People and business functions.
  • Provide a consultative approach, proactively identifying and partnering with the business leaders in addressing issues and concerns.
  • Coach leaders to accelerate leadership effectiveness and maximize results and facilitate leader assimilation (new hire, talent acquisition, and internal movement).
  • Contribute to business and People functions by identifying, prioritizing, and building organizational capabilities, behaviors, structures, and processes.
  • Foster People Business Partner relationships that are built on the People team gaining in-depth knowledge of business objectives and providing strategic counsel and analytics in support of goal attainment.
  • Continuously hone skills and upgrade business acumen to stay abreast of industry trends.
  • Demonstrate capabilities, professional knowledge, and the ability to assimilate new knowledge.

Qualifications:

  • 3-7 years of proven experience in HR, specifically HRIS and HR compliance
  • Strong business acumen partnered with strategic partner experiences
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Degree in HR, Labor Relations or Business Management
  • Solid understanding of employment law and policy administration
