About the job

The People & Talent Partner serves as a trusted advisor to employees and managers while leading full-cycle recruiting activities across assigned business areas. This role combines strategic talent acquisition with Human Resources business partnership responsibilities to support workforce planning, employee engagement, employee relations, performance management, and organizational effectiveness. Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Essential Functions

  • Manages the end-to-end recruitment process for exempt and non-exempt positions.
  • Partners with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies.
  • Sources candidates through multiple channels and maintains talent pipelines.
  • Conducts candidate screening, interview coordination, reference checks, and offer administration.
  • Advises leaders regarding market conditions, hiring trends, and recruiting best practices.
  • Acts as the primary People contact for assigned departments.
  • Provides guidance regarding policy interpretation, performance concerns, employee relations matters, and workplace issues.
  • Partners with leaders to address organizational and talent challenges.
  • Assists with resolving employee concerns and workplace issues.
  • Conducts preliminary investigations and fact-finding activities.
  • Supports corrective action and performance management processes.
  • Facilitates talent review and succession planning activities.
  • Supports annual performance review processes.
  • Assists managers with employee development planning.
  • Partners with leaders to anticipate staffing needs.
  • Monitors turnover, hiring trends, and workforce metrics.
  • Recommends workforce solutions based on business needs.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
  • 4+ years of recruiting and HR experience.
  • Experience supporting leaders and employees in a consultative capacity.
  • Ability to handle highly confidential information.
  • General awareness knowledge of the ISO9001 Quality Management System requirements, company Quality Policy and your contributions to the effectiveness of the QMS.
  • Responsible for being knowledgeable of and acting in strict accordance with the requirements of all relevant laws, regulations, and Company policies, including, among other areas, Food and Drug Administration regulations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • SHRM-CP or PHR Certification
  • Experience supporting multiple business functions.
  • Bilingual Spanish

Skills Required

  • 3-5+ years of HR generalist or HR business partner experience
  • Experience with employee relations
  • Experience administering FMLA, state leave, and ADA accommodation programs
  • Experience administering workers’ compensation claims
  • Comfort handling employee relations and compliance matters with appropriate judgment
  • Fair, consistent, and well-documented approach to employee relations
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple employee situations
  • Strong collaboration skills
  • Experience working in a hybrid remote/on-site team structure
  • Familiarity with ADP Workforce Now
  • Familiarity with handbook and policy management tools
