The Role

Are you a commercially-minded HR professional looking for your next challenge? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment where you can influence change and support business growth? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our People team as a People Partner.

As a key member of the team, you’ll provide strategic HR support across the Mattioli Woods Group, ensuring that our people strategy is fully embedded within the business. You’ll work closely with managers, providing expert guidance on all aspects of HR while playing a pivotal role in driving change and supporting the company’s overall strategy.

What we’re looking for:

Experience and knowledge:

✔ CIPD Level 5 qualification (or working towards Level 7)

✔ Strong knowledge of employment law, including tribunal processes, TUPE transfers and acquisitions

✔ Experience with payroll operations and HR system management (Workday preferred)

✔ Understanding of SMCR and FCA regulations in a financial services setting

Skills and attributes:

✔ Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

✔ High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

✔ A proactive and adaptable approach to problem solving

✔ Ability to influence and support senior leaders with HR best practices

What you’ll be doing:

  • Acting as the first point of contact for HR-related queries

  • Administering HR documentation, including contracts and policy updates

  • Supporting managers with recruitment and interview processes

  • Coaching employees and managers on Workday to maximise efficiency

  • Advising on employment law, policies, and best practices

  • Contributing to key HR projects, including acquisitions and organisational change

  • Partnering with leadership team to develop and implement effective people strategies aligned with business objectives

  • Providing guidance on organisational design, talent management and workforce planning

  • Leading change management initiatives and ensuring smooth implementation of HR programmes and acquisitions/Tupe transfers

  • Analysing metrics and trends to provide data-driven recommendations to the business

  • Developing and enhancing leadership capabilities across our management team through targeted training initiatives
