Our Philips DACH organization is one of the highest-revenue subsidiaries of Royal Philips with over 5000 employees in both manufacturing, R&D and commercial roles across Germany, Austria and Switzerland. You will have overall HR ‘license to operate’ responsibility for DACH, working closely with People Partners, People Leader Partners and Centers of Excellence to support employees and partner People Leaders in the organization. You will specifically focus on the Sales and Service entity with approximately 1,500 employees in Germany, headquartered in Hamburg. You will be a key partner to the Managing Director and the leadership team of this organization developing organizational capabilities, leadership strength and a performance culture.
Your role:
- Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement a People Strategy that aligns with the overall business strategy and objectives, ensuring it supports business growth, organizational capability, leadership strength, and performance management.
- Utilize diagnostic skills and business acumen to identify key people or workforce related needs and opportunities within the business area, articulating and delivering individual, team and workforce value propositions to senior management in alignment with business goals.
- Partner with and consults business leaders to understand their needs, providing strategic advice and solutions that influence business decisions by offering insights and recommendations to drive business performance and value.
- Coordinate capability development initiatives to ensure the business has the necessary skills and competencies to meet its objectives, leading strategic workforce planning efforts including hiring, succession planning, and development to maintain a robust talent pipeline.
- Drive the people elements of transformation and change initiatives within the business area, supporting the business in managing change effectively to ensure smooth transitions and minimal disruption to operations.
- Collaborate with Centers of Excellence (CoEs), specifically People Leader Partners, Rewards Delivery, Learning Delivery and Talent Delivery to execute on initiatives within the People Strategy
- Acts as a steward of the People Function Operating Model to ensure its services and solutions are delivered efficiently and effectively.
- Build strong, collaborative relationships with business leaders, leadership teams and stakeholders, serving as a trusted advisor and partner by providing thoughtful and relevant People Function related services and solutions based on a deep understanding of the market and the business.
- Support the development and implementation of performance management that drives high performance and accountability, offering guidance and support to business leaders on performance management processes including goal setting, feedback, and development planning.
- Ensure policies and practices comply with local laws and regulations, identifying and mitigating risks to ensure the business operates within legal and ethical boundaries.
You're the right fit if you have:
- Bachelor's/ Master's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or equivalent.
- Minimum 8 years of experience as Head of HR or Senior People Partner role in an international company, preferably in healthcare or other high-tech industry.
- Knowledge of local labor law.
- A proven track record of leadership coaching and organizational development.
- Experience in leading change and transitions in the workplace.
- Fluent in Deutsch and English, written and spoken.
- A strong drive and a pro-active, flexible mindset with intercultural skills.
