People and Culture Administrative Assistant

People and Culture Administrative Assistant with a passion for excellence and great enthusiasm in providing exceptional service standards. Come be a part of our tradition of more than 30 years of authentic Caribbean hospitality.
About the role
The People and Culture Administrative Assistant serves as the primary point of contact for employees interacting with the P&C department. This role requires efficient, courteous, and professional handling of inquiries while providing essential clerical support to the People and Culture team.
What you will do:
Onboarding and Offboarding:
- Coordinate new hire paperwork and onboarding processes.
- Prepare offer letters, employment contracts, and related documentation.
- Conduct pre-employment background checks and reference verifications.
- Manage employee exit interviews and process termination paperwork.
Employee Records:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personal information, employment history, benefits, and performance reviews.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy and security regulations.
Benefits Administration:
- Assist with benefits enrollment, changes, and terminations.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding benefits.
- Coordinate open enrollment communications and activities.
General Administrative Support:
- Schedule appointments, meetings, and events.
- Manage calendars and travel arrangements for People and Culture team members.
- Answer and direct phone calls.
- Manage office supplies and equipment.
- Assist with data entry and reporting.
- Provide support for HR projects as needed.
What you bring:
Education and Experience:
- Human Resources certification/qualification
- Business Administration, or a related field can provide foundational knowledge in HR principles and office administration
- In the absence of said qualification 1 - 3yrs experience in HR
