Company Description

For more than 20 years, KordaMentha has supported businesses through some of their most complex matters and opportunities. Founder owned and led; we are an advisory firm that helps corporations, financiers, lawyers, private investors and government clients to grow, protect and recover value.

That’s what we do, but it’s how we do this that makes us who we are.

Proudly independent, strategically local, and with a bias for action to get things done, we focus on doing what is right by our clients, our people, and the wider community. Our track record shows that we help navigate the best path forward in challenging times, and do so across cities, regions and territories.

In the most stressful or demanding environments, we continue to drive change where it really counts.

Job Description

We are looking for a People and Culture Administrator to join our national People and Culture team, based in our Perth office.

This role is a core function within the People and Culture team, supporting through the entire employee lifecycle. You will play an important role in making sure the key moments that shape an employee’s experience with KordaMentha are managed with care, accuracy and professionalism. Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate end-to-end onboarding administration for new employees across Australia, Singapore, Indonesia and New Zealand.
  • Create and maintain employee records in the HRIS and related People and Culture platforms and maintain accurate records, templates, contracts and employee files to support compliance and consistency.
  • Prepare and track new starter documentation, onboarding checklists and induction requirements
  • Liaise with internal teams to ensure systems access, employee information and onboarding actions are completed on time.
  • Support induction scheduling and help create a smooth, well organised experience for new starters.
  • Coordinate employee lifecycle changes including extended leave, career breaks, inter office transfers and secondments.
  • Manage offboarding administration, including employee communications, system updates and exit process coordination.
  • Support the coordination of exit surveys, exit interviews and related follow up actions.
  • Respond to general People and Culture enquiries and assist with broader employee administration.

Qualifications

You will be highly organised, detail focused and motivated by creating a smooth experience for employees and stakeholders.

You will bring:

  • Recently graduated from a relevant Human Resources qualification or up to 2 years' prior work experience within Human Resources
  • Strong attention to detail, particularly when working with employee records, documentation, checklists and high volume data
  • A task driven and agile approach, with the ability to follow through and keep processes moving
  • Strong organisational skills and confidence managing multiple onboarding, offboarding and administrative priorities at once
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
