We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our People Operations team as a People Analytics & Strategy Associate.
In this role, you will be the engine behind our core People data, transforming raw information into clear, actionable insights that drive strategic decisions across our globally-distributed organization. You will focus on the fundamental pillars of People Analytics: data accuracy, efficient reporting, and user-friendly visualization. This is a perfect entry-point for a candidate looking to launch a career in HR Analytics and Technology.
What you'll do:Dashboarding & Visualization:
Tableau Development: Design, build, and maintain dynamic, insightful dashboards in Tableau that track key People metrics (e.g., headcount, turnover, recruiting funnel, engagement).
Visualization: Translate complex data sets and reports into clear, compelling visualizations that tell a story and are easily consumable by non-technical audiences.
Data Integrity Check: Ensure all dashboards are running on accurate, up-to-date, and validated data sources through close partnerships with our Business Intelligence and our People Technology teams.
Data Dictionary: Assist in maintaining documentation for key HR metrics and data definitions.
Data & Reporting Excellence
Workday Reporting: Serve as the primary resource for pulling, manipulating, and delivering standard and ad-hoc reports from our core HRIS, Workday, in response to requests from HR Business Partners and business leaders.
Data Cleanliness: Proactively audit, validate, and cleanse People data within Workday and other integrated systems to ensure the highest level of data quality, accuracy, and integrity.
Workday Configuration: Perform basic, non-technical configuration within Workday to enable new reporting capabilities and fulfill simple business user requests (e.g., modifying report fields, setting up simple calculated fields).
Strategic Support:
Assist the People Leadership team with data collection and analysis for key strategic initiatives, including quarterly business reviews.
Identify opportunities to streamline and automate manual reporting processes to improve team efficiency.
Educate stakeholders on how to self-serve in Tableau through training and enablement materials.
Utilize AI whenever possible.
Recent campus graduate (B.A./B.S.) with a degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Data Science, Business Analytics, Economics, Mathematics) or Human Resources/Business with a strong analytical focus.
Proven foundational knowledge of data visualization principles and experience using a major dashboarding tool, preferably Tableau (academic project experience is acceptable).
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, complex formulas).
Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy and integrity.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain analytical findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Interest in entering the fields of HR and/or data analytics.
Aptitude for learning and utilizing technology.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
It'd be awesome if you also have:
Internship experience working with an HRIS, especially Workday (running reports, basic navigation).
Experience gathering and translating business requirements into technical reporting specifications.
Annual Base Salary Range: $56,000 - 70,000.
