About the role

At Maersk, we are on a mission to become the global leader in integrated logistics, enabling businesses to thrive in a sustainable manner. Our culture is built around teamwork, innovation, and a commitment to excellence. As we expand our capabilities, we seek a talented People Analytics Partner (PAP) who will play a critical role in driving data-driven decision-making across our Logistics & Services (L&S) products organization and associated frontline operations. The PAP supporting these areas will be instrumental in navigating complex business data challenges, liaising with a diverse stakeholder landscape, and enabling data-led transformations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with key stakeholders to assess business requirements, define analytics opportunities, and prioritize initiatives grounded in thorough knowledge of the L&S function.

  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Conduct hands-on analysis of complex datasets to unearth patterns and insights. Deliver comprehensive reports and updates for leadership teams and business partners, highlighting organizational risks and opportunities.

  • Insight Communication: Present analytical findings through compelling narratives and visuals, ensuring actionable insights are effectively conveyed to stakeholders.

  • Training & Capacity Building: Educate stakeholders on optimal data usage and analytics tools (e.g., PowerBI, Excel, DQ tools) while fostering a culture of self-service data reporting to enhance analytical capabilities across the organization.

  • Roadmap Establishment: Lead the development of analytics products (reports and dashboards) within your purview, providing input to influence prioritization for the overall People Data model.

  • Data Quality Monitoring: Work closely with Data Management and other teams to identify and resolve data quality issues, aiming to enhance the overall data landscape.

  • Initiative Support: Identify and support initiatives that improve data models and harness workforce insights, including involvement in global projects related to data enhancements.

  • Metrics Development: Contribute to the creation and optimization of a catalogue of metrics and KPIs across People platforms, promoting standardization and adoption of best practices.

  • Project Involvement: Participate in various People Data & Analytics optimization projects with a focus on improving processes, data solutions, and collaborative data exchange efforts.

What are we looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in data Analytics, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.

  • Proven experience in people analytics, business data analysis, or a similar role, preferably within a complex and dynamic business environment.

  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data tools (PowerBI, Excel, etc.) and experience in leveraging data to drive business decisions.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex datasets into meaningful insights.

  • Demonstrated ability to engage and influence a diverse set of stakeholders.

  • Strong collaborative mindset with a focus on building analytical capabilities and promoting a self-service data culture.
