The Role
Provides employee relations guidance across a 1,200+ person resort workforce, managing disciplinary, grievance, performance, probation, absence, wellbeing, and other complex cases. Coaches leaders, interprets employment legislation, ensures policy compliance, analyzes People data, identifies retention and engagement trends, and manages an independent ER caseload while partnering with department heads.

As a key member of the resort People Team, reporting to our People Partners, you will play a vital role in enhancing the experience of our 1,200+ team members. This is a full-time, on-site role where you will provide expert guidance on employee relations, supporting leaders in handling cases fairly, consistently, and in line with company policies and the latest updates in employment law.
From disciplinaries and grievances to performance improvement plans and supporting leaders to manage probation and absence, you will uphold our core value of “We Care for Each Other” by fostering a supportive and professional workplace.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to interpret People data will enable you to identify trends and contribute to strategies that support retention and engagement. Staying up to date with employment legislation, you will ensure compliance across the resort by effectively communicating updates and embedding policies.
About You
We’re looking for a passionate and motivated HR professional ideally with CIPD Level 5 or above, who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has experience managing a high volume of complex ER cases.
As part of the People Team, you will be key in supporting a large workforce of over 1,200 team members including over 350 team members who live on resort. Your ability to confidently coach and support leaders at all levels will ensure great people management across the resort.
Experience in the leisure, retail or hospitality sector is advantageous but not essential. Strong communication skills, excellent workload prioritisation, and the ability to identify and proactively manage potential risks is vital. You will be a trusted partner working with our heads of department on resort to guide a range of ER and wellbeing topics as well as managing your own caseload of live ER cases.

Skills Required
- Professional experience in human resources, particularly employee relations
- Experience managing a high volume of complex employee relations cases
- CIPD Level 5 or above
