700Apps is looking for a talented PEGA Lead System Architect to join our innovative team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in PEGA application development, design, and implementation while showcasing the ability to tackle complex design and architectural challenges. As a Senior System Architect, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our PEGA projects, ensuring high-quality solution delivery that aligns with business goals.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement PEGA applications to meet business requirements and enhance user experience.
- Lead and mentor junior developers on PEGA best practices, application design, and implementation strategies.
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
- Conduct architecture reviews to ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, and adhere to industry standards.
- Oversee system integration efforts with third-party applications through REST/SOAP services.
- Perform code review and ensure quality standards are met throughout the development lifecycle.
- Manage the deployment of PEGA applications in various environments.
- Identify and troubleshoot performance issues, providing appropriate solutions and optimizations.
- Stay current with PEGA technology advancements and best practices to continuously improve development processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience as a PEGA Systems Architect or in a similar role.
- PEGA Certified Senior System Architect (CSSA) certification is a mandatory requirement.
- Proficiency in integration technologies and database applications, including but not limited to SOAP, Oracle, DB2, MS SQL, REST, and EJB.
- Extensive hands-on experience in designing and developing complex use cases using the PEGA platform.
- Proven ability to translate business requirements into actionable designs and application builds.
- Strong understanding of PEGA application frameworks, best practices, and methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with PEGA 8.x and later, including Case Management and Decisioning capabilities.
- In-depth knowledge of database design and integration with relational databases.
- Familiarity with various software development methodologies, particularly Agile.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of industry standards for security and compliance within PEGA applications.
