Leidos Digital Modernization sector is seeking an experienced Pega Systems Architect to lead delivery of Pega platform development and optimization supporting a the Office of Justice Programs (OJP) Enterprise Application Design and Development Services (EADDS) program. large grants management organization. The Pega Systems Architect leads the team in application of cutting edge Pega system capabilities including Blueprint Human in the loop AI coding. The technical leader will provide engineering and architect level ownership of a multi-system solution based on the Pega platform, including supporting Just Grants, a large grants management platform.
Primary responsibilities:
- Apply experience with Pega Dynamic Case, Management, Pega Deployment Manager, Pega Surveys, and Pega Business Intelligence Exchange Tool to mature the overall Pega platform in use.
- Drive continuous modernization in development of Pega platform capabilities on program through baseline platform delivery throughout program execution to maintain industry leadership for OJP.
- Create templates and tools to guide and lead program management teams in assessment of legacy system capabilities against current Pega platform baselines.
- Provide expertise to agile development teams in Pega best practices.
- Provide architect level guidance to technical engineering teams for Pega Platform development and utilization.
- Provide “best of Pega” expertise to staff, teams and customer groups. Create calendar of Pega lifecycle events and scheduled baselines.
- Provide annual plans to align system capabilities with customer requirements.
- Provide leadership in use of Blueprint and Pega AI automation (support / coding).
- Lead development teams in applying modular Pega coding / muti-system platform development.
- Lead engineering teams in Big Data integration of Pega with other systems through API gateways / multi system integration outside of the Pega Cloud.
- Support “industry leading” best use of Pega as a NC/LC platform.
- Provide guidance to product development teams as to Pega areas of strength, and identify areas where other products can be applied more efficiently.
- Lead Pega platform optimization (refinement) and Pega security management.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in software engineering, computer science, information systems
- Minimum of 15 years of technical leadership experience
- Direct experience in leading large scale Pega developments
- Certifications include Pegasystems Certified System Architect. Certified Scrum Master (or ability to become Scrum Certified). PMP highly desired
- Experience in Low Code / No Code development
- Alignment of Pega capabilities with other platforms to enable OJP in utilizing optimal and most efficient platform usage
- Knowledge of utilizing Pega in a multi-platform environment through hybrid systems
- Knowledge of cutting edge Pega development using Blueprint AI coding
- Experience with Pega Dynamic Case Management, Pega Deployment Manager, Pega Surveys, and Pega Business Intelligence Exchange Tool.
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance
