How you will contribute
You will oversee the planning and execution of software and applications. To do so, you will manage an internal team and partner with external suppliers and use your deep technical and market knowledge and thorough understanding of our business goals find and deploy the right software and application solutions for the future. You will support programs to implement regional and global software and application strategies, offer input to financial planning and controls for software and applications on a regional and global level, collaborate with management and follow-up on requisitions, purchase orders, invoices, and payments, explores opportunities to leverage scale and drive savings, and ensure that support service level objectives and key performance indicators are accomplished.

Purpose of Role:
We are seeking a Pega LSA to lead the architectural strategy and implementation of Pega solutions in Data Management Tower. This role is crucial in enhancing our digital transformation initiatives and optimizing our operational efficiency, and with integrations involving SAP S/4HANA systems. Your role spans from delineating business requirements to spearheading the design, construction, implementation, and adoption phases using agile methodologies. Crucially, you'll leverage your expertise to ensure the smooth integration of new processes, methodologies, UI/UX and tools across the organization. Your proactive approach will involve overcoming obstacles and championing change, serving as a catalyst for transformation among key users and end-user groups.
SAP S/4 Hana and o9 Planning Transformation is a multiyear journey and provides a significant opportunity to transform and optimize business capabilities in service of our Vision 2030. Post executive review MDLZ will proceed with a Smart Field approach, which means reviewing processes for opportunities to harmonize them, improve user interfaces, creating a digital core of systems that talk to each other, and more.
Job Responsibilities:
• Engage closely with key stakeholders to deeply understand business objectives and requirements for meticulous planning and execution of DMS Pega initiatives.
• Proactively lead the Pega program's design phase, ensuring comprehensive alignment of data-related aspects with business objectives and technical capabilities
• Define and lead the architectural vision for Pega applications within the MDLZ landscape, ensuring alignment with business objectives and adherence to industry best practices.
• Experience in designing enterprise class structures and foundational components, ensuring scalability and maintainability.
• Possess deep knowledge of Pega PRPC, BPM methodologies, and enterprise integration technologies using Pega connectors and protocols (REST/SOAP, databases, etc.), with specific experience in Pega integrations with SAP S/4HANA systems.
• Identify and leverage emerging technologies and methodologies to enhance Pega solutions including Pega AI, Gen AI capabilities, focusing on improving user experiences and operational efficiencies.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence in Pega application development.
• Promote new and better ways of delivering solutions, particularly in building DevOps capabilities within the team.
• Develop and monitor performance metrics for data orchestration initiatives, ensuring continuous improvement and alignment with business goals.
Career Experienced Required & Role Implications:
• Proven experience in developing and executing successful data technology and architecture strategies that yield sustainable earnings and a competitive advantage.
• Strong experience in integrating applications and systems throughout the enterprise, enhancing interoperability.
• Solid understanding of DevOps practices with the ability to implement them within product teams effectively.
• Proven experience in managing third-party vendors to deliver effective solutions.
• Familiarity with operating in large, complex multi-national organizations, facilitating alignment for strategic priorities across diverse internal and external stakeholders.
• Agility to manage and influence in a virtual, remote, and global organization.
• Degree in Data Management, IT, Computer Science, or a related field
• 10+ years of software development experience, with at least 7 years of hands-on experience with Pega platforms, ideally in the consumer goods industry
• 5+ years of experience in Agile methodologies
• Pega certified LSA, DAMA certifications, or equivalent data certification is a plus.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and influencing skills, with high emotional intelligence and the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
