Job Description:

POSITION DESCRIPTION: Utilize agile development methodologies to analyze, develop, and test system solutions in response to business requirements. Understand user stories, identify appropriate designs, code to the design specifications, and complete appropriate unit testing to ensure quality solution delivery. Work with stakeholders across a broad array of IT and business teams through all phases of a project, including requirements-definition, design and build, delivery, and user acceptance testing. Leverage industry expertise to consult on and influence project direction, as a tireless advocate for Pega best practices. Demonstrate commitment to project success by ensuring that the delivered product is fully-functioning, perform business requirements defined and approved by the team, and meet or exceed stakeholder expectations. Articulate obstacles. Create and maintain application documentation. Participate in design reviews and code reviews. Maintain level of urgency towards timelines and results. Participate in on-call rotation. Support and follow all documented IT processes and standards. Attend daily standups. Communicate and work with team members and Business to understand requirements and identify application impacts. Create individual work plans, specifications and programs with guidance utilizing development procedures and standards. Maintain high regard for member privacy in accordance with the corporate privacy policies and procedures. Develop code. Analyze, research, and resolve system issues. Responsible for medium-to-complex user stories encompassing complex feature development and service requests with broad impacts to more than one application or system. Identify process and technical deficiencies and offer solutions to resolve. Identify best practices and participates in creation of Organizational Standards. Position is 100% remote.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field of study + 2 years’ experience as a Software Developer or related IT occupation. Experience is required and must include the following: Using the Pega platform for developing healthcare-related applications and databases; Creating and executing test cases; Overseeing rules, rulesets, and leveraging the Enterprise Class Structure (ECS) to promote rule reuse between case types and applications; Incorporating Next-Best-Action decision-making into applications; Designing applications for multiple device types and screen sizes; Configuring roles, access groups, privileges, and managing data access within an application.

Compensation Range(s):

SALARY: $73,751 - $111,608/year

The salary range indicated in this posting represents the minimum and maximum of the salary range for this position. Actual salary will vary depending on factors including, but not limited to, budget available, prior experience, knowledge, skill and education as they relate to the position’s minimum qualifications, in addition to internal equity. The posted salary range reflects just one component of our total rewards package. Other components of the total rewards package may include participation in group health and/or dental insurance, retirement plan, wellness program, paid time away from work, and paid holidays.
